"In an unusual proceeding for a corporation accused of a crime, Boeing officials were arraigned Thursday in a federal courtroom in Fort Worth for the company's actions leading to two plane crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia in 2018 and 2019 that killed 346 passengers and crew.
Boeing was charged with conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government for allegedly skirting safety rules when introducing its 737 MAX jets. The arraignment before US District Judge Reed O'Connor took place two years after the company entered into a deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice..."
Texas Tribune Story 1/26/2023
When folks like you and me and the ones in the US Capitol on January 6th among others are prosecuted by federal prosecutors numerous charges are brought.

According to the Seattle Times, the settlement with Ethiopia is now collapsing because the Ethiopian investigation was a total fraud.
From memory, the Indonesian plane was completely pulverized when it dived full speed into deep water.
Four Muslim pilots.
The 737 Max flew in Europe, North America, Japan, and the Persian Gulf for 18 months without even one incident report that was relevant to the flight control issue.
The catastrophe in Ethiopia and Indonesia was either religious fanaticism or criminal fraud.
Boeing hopes your story will sell.
LOL. “Seattle Times”.
Boeing has been an utterly corrupt company for decades. Their answer to Airbus competition and innovation was to cut engineering corners. In the past 50 years, the B-757 and B-777 were the only good products that Boeing has come out with - everything else has been suspect to one degree or another.
Pfizer and Boeing should get a room.
“Boeing has been an utterly corrupt company for decades.”
Agreed.
Anyone doubting that should search for the 2 female whistleblowers re 737 airframe defects and find the video outlining how specifications for airframe components to be “CNC-made” were hand fabricated and later literally hammered/reamed to fit on their assembly lines.
The McDonnel-Douglas deal should have been their death Nell, but it seems we’re propping up a company which should have come under Congressional & regulatory scrutiny, not granted the ability to craft its own certification standards (as they were granted by FAA for the 737MAX).
And I’m not even going to get into the wiring problems. Someday I should finish my article...
Boeing didn’t kill itself?
