Woah imardmd1 — I referred to the book of acts “In Acts 2:38, “. . . be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins . . .””
and then you jump to a book written decades later by Peter.
Stick to the same context.
The book of acts clearly refers to “every one of you” — it does not exclude children

Apparently. Cronos, you’re missing that it does address the same overall context. The 2 Peter addresses you who have never been discipled by one mature in the Gospel of Paul (Gal. 1:5-10). With your version of what your Romanistic defect, you—in despising the idea of sola fide and sola Scriptura (salvation instantaneous by the unseen quantity of confidence in one’s soul, body, and spirit given to Christ as the sole proprietor of one’s lifes and future: and that confidence arrived at only by the Spirit’s instruction in The Holy Scriptures alone, looks like you are still under condemnation to Hell, noteithstanding that infant baptism the RCC do trine only got you a little damp, as compared to what you yourself was doing to your nappies. And that actually had more practical value than being wet by a Replacement Theologian Priest’s wet fingers.
