Handling of the Documents is Not the Issue, But the Content

Since Biden's supposedly goes back many years...maybe they actually found them waaaaay before they even started the Trump hunt.

But if these are documents being peddled to foreign powers, the main issue is the content, and the handling merely evidence that they might have been peddled. That’s why he says to “follow the money,” since the Chicoms were donated to the Penn center. If it’s information that is valuable to China, AND they got money indirectly from China, here we are. Just one more shoe to drop.

The actual content of the documents is not that important since most geopolitical intelligence is also generally reported by open source organizations as well. The real threat is the level of specificity in the document that would reveal a source or method of collection. Besides jeopardizing human sources, it could result in loss of future intellegence if the adversary neutralizes the method.

If Biden possessed specific information that he didn’t have a “need-to-know” that is a violation of the securities act. If this information then was also made available to an adversary, Biden would be suspected as a potential source which would be treason.

Biden takes this seriously. That’s why he stole these documents and left them everywhere.

The true picture of corruption in our government is much like a jigsaw puzzle. You need to put all the pieces in place to fully understand what has been going on. Some of those pieces are money flows, some pieces are the people who strangely keep popping up in various shady areas of the picture, and some pieces are the bits of information that are passed around and spread by those people in cynical and deliberate violation of the law.

Bongino has been working to assemble that puzzle for a long, long time. But I don’t agree that some of the pieces are not important.

And it’s hard to say that the content isn’t important when you don’t actually know what’s in those documents or their classification levels.

I should add that I consider “handling” to include issues of storage and physical protection, as well as deliberate propagation of content to those with no legal basis for having it.

All very valid points. The title is mine, because the original title was generic. I did the best I could to sum up the relevant content in a title, but I’m not an intelligence guy. It seems you are, so pardon my ignorance.

Bongino was in the Secret Service, I think. He knows something about document handling and security considerations. Unfortunately, the pieces of this “puzzle” are going to fight mightily to avoid being “put together,” and they have the entire nefarious swamp as an ally, with many weapons. So it’s an uphill battle, and everyone on our side will have to play some sort of a part, even a small one, if we are to have any hope of prevailing. Personally, I’m in. On the plus side, I can’t be extradited for prosecution, and while ignorant, I’m not stupid and I think beyond the surface. On the minus side, I’m not there to contribute physically, and my knowledge has gaps.
