Remember when the Paul Pelosi story was big news for a while, then weird things started coming out, and then suddenly everyone stopped talking about it?
Yeah, I do.
Back in October, the story came, and Democrats pounced on it, pushing the narrative that some deranged Trumpster had broken into the Pelosi home and attacked the husband of the then-House Speaker in some politically motivated MAGA attack. Of course, it was soon revealed that the attack was most definitely not a Trump supporter — but actually a left-leaning supporter of Black Lives Matter and LGBTQ causes, as well as a nudist activist who reportedly struggled with drug abuse. Oops.
But it gets weirder. It was initially reported that when the police came, the attacker was wearing nothing but his underwear — which was later retracted. There was a report that there was a third unnamed individual who let the police in — which was later retracted. Then there was the report that detailed how Pelosi opened the door for the police before returning to the interior of his home to reengage his attacker — which was later retracted, and NBC News reporter Miguel Almaguer got suspended for reporting it — even though his report matched details recorded in court documents. As the story lingered, we were left with questions than answers, and yet three key pieces of evidence — Pelosi’s 911 call, the police body cam footage, and Capitol Police security footage — have not been released.

Note the two “recent FR arrivals” trying to minimize this story...
Come out of the closet, Paul!
Don’t be ashamed of who you are!
Just google Paul Pelosi Politico and you will see that there have been many mentions of it, even though, until another court date or other news, it has been covered pretty thoroughly. Mostly, all the retracted information curiously alluded to were retracted for good cause. They weren't true.
Perhaps you could use your super-dooper sleuth powers and tell everyone just who I used to be kiry? I used to be a model prisoner but since I got out of mental ward I’ve slipped back into my old habits...like being multiple people on a chat board...:)
And since you seem to gravitate toward conspiracy theories kiry how about this one...I am employed by the Illuminati to track and record posts from those who might pose a threat to our world domination. And you have fallen into the trap repeatedly. I’ll be doing an expose on this on the local late night cable channel...please watch as it will be entertaining...:)
Have a nice weekend...
What cover up?
Not getting weirder at all. It’s back to the normal cover up of a Democrat. I’m surprised that we got as much as we did of his drunk driving arrest, though I can’t really remember what the end result of that case was. Did I miss it? Quite possible! Or was it buried and forgotten? Also quite possible!
Maybe Pope Che can give Nancy asylum in the Vatican.
Point taken. But the Pelosi’s are hiding something. I don’t like it when politicians try to fool the public they’re supposed to be serving.
Well, not ignoring it would be a first step.
You object to any attempt to hold them or their press puppies accountable, oldie who is new? And if you have better things to do, why post multiple replies on this tread?
I guess I can use that oft used line....They all do it.
you are right...outta this one.
No one is ignoring anything. As soon as there is a development in the story, the media will be all over it like white on rice. There is no need to do a story every day that says, "day xxx of Depape in jail."
I whole-heartedly agree. My personal opinion is it’s deliberate. It’s what keeps us busy while more pressing issues need our attention. They create contradictory reports, we question, we create a narrative and our own media folks capitalize on it, feeding us what we want. In reality we are continuously receiving the news we want and look for.Its a flawless system in many ways, requiring little from the elite class.
It matters to half the U.S. population because we were smeared and blamed for his attack. The attack itself is and inferior story to the story of how the media played a willing part in hammering Republicans right before an election.
Ok, how about not telling people to ignore, and populating threads about, a topic you don’t think is worth mentioning?
Exactly. A couple people here seem to have the same ball-less reaction to being blamed for everything as above-it-all Bush and rest of the GOPe. That’s why they’re the loser party.
Oh, I think it is a very worthwhile topic. I never told anyone to ignore it. But making up bizarre, fantastic, and false stories should not be encouraged. Filthy accusations without any basis are inexcusable.
