Cellphone video captured a confrontation involving a Mall of America security guard telling a man wearing a "Jesus Saves" T-shirt that his shirt is "offending" shoppers at the famously large mall in Bloomington, Minnesota — and the guard ordered the man to remove the shirt or leave the mall.

This is nothing more than a private business discriminating against religion. They are liable. Quite clearly this is discrimination against a Christian. Good luck arguing it isn’t.

If you listen to the video, the fellow in the Jesus Saves shirt admits he was thrown out some weeks ago for preaching at the mall.

He wore his shirt back to this mall but did not preach and they still want him thrown out.

So I guess it made no difference if he said anything or not. This was stupid on the part of the mall.

Obvious rhetorical question. If someone complained about a Muslim woman covered head to toe in traditional Islamic attire, who would be ordered to leave the mall, I ask so cynically?

Not to a Muslim. Nor to a Jew wearing a yarmuka. Nor to a Wiccan wearing ... whatever it is Wiccans wear.

Muslims enjoy no special protection. All religions are protected -- except Christians.
