Of all the lame excuses . . .
CNN This Morning came up with a laughable one today. CNN White House correspondent MJ Lee blamed Biden's "hectic, crazy" schedule during his final days as Vice President for classified documents winding up in Biden's personal possession.
Among the items on Biden's "hectic, crazy" schedule making it so, so difficult to handle the classified documents in a proper manner, Lee cited:
"the surprise Medal of Freedom ceremony that was given to him by the president then, President Barack Obama."
Seriously? How long could that take? In contrast with Biden's predilections, Obama presumably didn't even pause to sniff Joe's hair as he hung the medal around his neck

Most folks don’t know this. But Medal of Freedom winners are allowed to take secret documents home with them. It’s one of the perks.
(Okay, I just made that up. Maybe CNN will read my comment, and offer me a high-paying job. I could then spout silly nonsense without thinking all day long.)
