At least in the old Soviet Union you knew what not say. For example, don’t criticize Comrade Stalin.
Here in the United States, we’re getting to the point where what’s okay to do today will get you cancelled tomorrow. The old-time liberals like Jimmy Carter have to know how wrong this is. It would be nice if they would speak up.
But they all remain silent. Sigh. I guess they are too intimidated to say anything.

Ian Miles Cheong and Libs of TikTok combine for over 2 million followers on Twitter. Yes, this company is probably feeling the heat right now for their kneejerk decision.
It's one thing to use your work Twitter account for politics but in this case, it appears that this is Kara Lynne's personal account and it should be her business to follow who she wants.
I'm guessing Kara either gets her job back or a pile of money.
