Two Georgia women, who in 2020 were alleged to have hidden suitcases filled with ballots under the table where they worked, were among those honored Friday with the Presidential Citizens Medal.
President Joe Biden used the anniversary of the Capitol incursion to honor 14 people for their actions on Jan. 6, 2021 and in the tumult over the 2020 elections.
Fulton County poll workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss were later cleared of the allegations.
During the ceremony, Biden praised the honorees for their efforts on “July 6th.”
“A violent mob of insurrectionists assaulted law enforcement, vandalized sacred halls, hunted down elected officials — all for the purpose of attempting to overthrow the will of the people and usurp the peaceful transfer of power,” Biden said, according to a White House transcript of his comments.

As you say, it’s in our faces. It’s bad enough that they got away with obvious crimes, but to reward them takes it to another level . . .

democrats reward their soldiers with medals and money for their efforts in the current, on-going CWII. This is what armies do for their soldiers.
A special award for doing their job is unmerited. Sure, they’ll couch this as having stood up to harassment, slander, etc., but the ONLY justification for this award would be for, shall we say, “going beyond the call of duty.”

I read recently that Ruby wanted to tell the truth, that everything said earlier was a lie. Seems she felt left out for only doing what they told her to do that night and now she wanted to clear her name by telling the truth.
It appears they got her message loud and clear. Wonder how big her bank account got.
