Russia’s economy contracted for the second quarter in a row as the western response to Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine helped plunge the economy into recession.
(Excerpt) Read more at ft.com ...
It’s time for Russia to think about Russians citizens, who suffer from this.
Russia can decide to end its invasion of a sovereign country at any time.
...based on Ukrainian statistics for Russia, or even worse, Western ‘estimates’.
That’s what a command and control economy will do to you.
Generally, government interference in the economy does more harm than good.
That's true in every communist/socialist government in the world, and it's true in our own country which is not purely capitalist.
Everything government touches, regardless of the type of government, turns to absolute crap.
In our own country, it's true in health care, banking/finance, housing, and a plethora of other examples I could cite but would take too long.
Winning ? no.
The Ukrainian citizens enduring Russian destruction of Ukraine will call it a win only when the Russian invaders stops invading.
It’s a win, when Russia brings back to Moscow all their troops from Ukraine.
It’s the only goal of the sanctions - stopping a senseless war to preserve Russian lives, Ukrainian lives.
keep ignoring the obvious, that’s what your Tsar is doing
and it’s working so well for Russia ...
Two quarters of contraction is the OLD definition of recession. Now it means a fabulous economy according to Democrats.
Well, a number of Russian Kremlin-men and a few lost souls here on FR have their brains formatted and synced by the Kremlin. KGB tactics are powerful.
True patriots. /s
Yes that’s also a topic. I agree.
When it comes to Ukrainian men, women and children, it is understandable they want the armed invasion from Russia to stop.
An average of 50.000 Russian artillery shells is raining down on Ukraine every single day. Communists have always acted his brutal way against weak small countries.
If you and I were Ukrainians we would probably want the Russian invaders to stop killing us.
Imagine if Mexico would be shelling the USA with 50.000 shells, every day...
I wouldn’t be so happy.
The Russhing economy is in tatters, I tell you - TATTERS!!
Its past time the deceitful West took a good look at itself in the mirror.
Agreed. Democrats are willingly delusional. They are masochists in a way.
Oh shut up and pay attention to what is happening right here in our own country.
Oh wait, you are a foreigner and you are part of the WEF/NWO propaganda BS crowd.
Truth is you don’t care about Russian citizens and we all know it.
I’m not happy about Russia’s invasion. Not one bit. But the plight of the Ukrainian people is not our problem. It’s a shame, but it’s also infantile to think America solves all the problems in the world. It directly hurts America and it hurts those that don’t take responsibility for themselves. Europe doesn’t take responsibility. They are on the military welfare roles of America. As long as that is the case it makes both America and Europe weak.
To me it sounds like those enriching the Russians are trying to say all the money that they are sending to the Russians isn't helping the Russians. Hmmm...
Yes, obviously these are fake statistics being published by Kremlin, those tankers and pipelines are not really carrying Russian energy products. When are the idiots going to realize that they are being sold a bill of goods.
So... hypothetically :
Imagine if Mexico was shelling the USA with an average of 50.000 artillery shells every single day (that’s what Russia does to Ukraine)... Imagine if people around the world would be mocking the USA for its “deceit” like you seem to do against the victims of the war in Ukraine... Wouldn’t it be more logic for those people to criticize instead the Mexican artillery shelling on the USA ??
Ukraine is suffering from an atrociously brutal armed military invasion from Russia and their Islamic allies : Chechnya (bringing in extra soldiers) and IRAN (bringing in advanced kamikaze drones).
Don’t you have any word to spare for the victims of the Russian invasion?
Is criticizing the west more important to you ?
Why ?
