Food Prices: is it just me or...
Self | Jimjohn

While shopping at our local food grocer, wagons noticed that the egg price has jumped nearly $2 per dozen.

Understand that we had a supply chain interruption with the recent storm, but I'm wondering is anyone else noticing this in there.?

I’ve heard it blamed on bird flu.

It’s your imagination. Inflation is transitory and the Biden economy is going great. If you dispute this, you’re a domestic terrorist and you’ll get a visit from the FBI.

Yes, food at grocery.stores jumped up in 2021, leveled off, and have recently jumped up again.

Gas prices are also edging up.

Food prices have exploded again. I thought the egg price was a misprint.

1) Price is just one thing ...

2) Everything that coming out has the disclaimer ...

“BioEngineered Ingredients within”

Much less than we can even buy. Fresh bread has warning. Deli salads, yogurts.

Frankly, I’m far less concerned about the high prices as I am about the ability of a majority of Americans to afford to pay the high prices.

We are just lucky to have a super-awesome president like Biden at this time. If he weren’t running the show, everything would be so much worse right now.

I have also noticed some store brands are higher than name brands on certain items.

Yes, just NE of Dallas, Texas (Sherman)
This increase (supposedly)is a result from the chicks and the
bout with avian flu a year ago or so. Fewer layers, fewer eggs. (supposedly.) Personal take is all eggs were put in one
basket which was dropped at the midterm election.

Paid 8 bucks for a dozen eggs (Eggland Best) in Phoenix. Supposedly due to the bird flu and drought/heat waves.

Mostly bird flu to blame, with some general inflation costs.

Wholesale egg price in Iowa, largest egg producer, have jumped to over $5 per dozen large. That hasn’t all been passed on yet.

Yes.

if you look behind the curtain, the food chain is owned by globalist (foriegn) interests with distribution side ( supermarkets chains) are directly connected to Big Pharma

In fact does anyone remember the "Toilet Paper shortage" that was in sync with the COVID scam ?

well it just so happens that all of the toilet paper mills are connected to Big Pharma and China who is a major client of biotech and big pharma because to make toilet paper you need a lot of chemicals that the globalists control

COVID forced people worldwide out of restaurants and into supermarkets where the globalists corporations created artificial inflation overnight .

COVID is the scam that is doing everything "Climate Change" failed to produce

Yeah, I read labels religiously, still have to take them as an article of faith.

Used to know someone 10+ years who had a business testing and validating food ingredients. Lost touch with him.

I pray someone is keeping tabs on food manufacturers.

Egg prices have been increasing steadily for two years. They recently took another big price hike, going up about .50 a dozen in some cases. Some blame it on the chicken culls taking place because of a supposed outbreak of avian flu in the birds. I’m beginning to think there is way too many coincidences in the break down of the supply chain and shortages (and price increases) of food.
