This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

It isn’t the one-on-one that worries me, it is the scale of things, a major naval war, international shipping, submarines, the global economy, and accompanying brush wars, India.

I think much would be different and unstable afterward.

“A war against China could leave America and the West severely blooded and wounded, and a strong Russia would not ignore that.”

Yes, you are right, of course. Russia swinging to either side, or exploiting resulting weakness from a Western/China conflict, was definitely a major threat to the West (as well as to China).

Russia is on track to become a much less significant swing consideration, but China will likely gain a lot of cheap natural resources, maybe a bunch of nuclear weapons technology, and be able to free up some of the Military budget and forces now dedicated to defense against Russia.

The Russian financial system is already rapidly converting over to yuan based accounts, loans and contracts. Russia is now so isolated (the most heavily sanctioned country on Earth) , that it is dramatically more dependent on China for everything it needs to import or export . China controls the pricing.

Russia and China always share one common enemy.

Russian leadership really committed against the West, and played its big cards - and is losing badly.

Now they will be played.

The truly sad part of all of this is that it was all unnecessary. As is most war. War is about pride, ego, and arrogance. Japan went to war for resources and power, lost badly but became an economic powerhouse for decade without the resources they went to war for under their control. China by many accounts is an economic powerhouse ( count me as one who is skeptical of just how real that is) and does not need to expand its control nor is it actually threatened by any major powers, Russia is the same if you listen to the talking heads not only was Russia in great shape economically before the war but are in better shape now…
China and Russia despite what they may think or claim are not threatened by the west. All the lives lost, resources expended for what?

For all we have developed tech wise we are still the same animals we have always been we lie, cheat, rape, murder, steal, are jealous, covet what others have, are arrogant and power hungry to a word sinful

To be sure there are good people but lurking around every corner is evil. Plenty of experiments as well as actual events prove that.

I am 60 years old spent nearly 40 years in the military and that is my observations of humanity

“we are still the same animals we have always been”

Human nature - the potential for great good and great evil in all of us. We always have to be ready, for when someone gives in to their worst.

Thanks for your service, Brother.

Put very well and so true. Let me tell you I would do it all over again but maybe not so much in this woke military. Just slipping in as I retired a year ago. I will add that I am one to slam the younger generations lol but I can say during the good and the bad deployments I was constantly and consistently impressed with the young members, something I couldn’t always say about my age group
