This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The very same Leftist DNCdriveby Media said the same about America’s military (they’re all white supremacists and Racist conservatives), especially under Reagan, Bush 1, Bush 2 and Trump.
The current wokeness campaign in our military is the direct result of those types of “publications” pressure. The Hill, Forbes, Washington Post, ABCCBSCNNNBCMSNBCPBS, etc.
Also, watch any Hollyweird movie since the 70s...
The bad guy goes by Sir/Skipper/Commander/General...
Democrats calls us Nazi. Called Trump a Nazi.
I just don’t care.
I’m amazed at how beneficial this Russian invasion has been to Western/American strategic interests.
Even if Ukraine fell today our position against the China threat has improved greatly over what it was a year ago, Russia exhausted and declawed, NATO is more martially focused and united, and growing in strength and armament, Western arms manufacturing refreshed and operating at high rates, old stocks used effectively against Russia and being replenished with fresh and modernized versions.
Ourselves and dozens of our allies reevaluating and updating our warfighting theories and strategies, and methods, and even which weapon systems we should shift to or let fall away.
Putin’s invasion and Ukraine’s stubborn and capable resistance to it have resulted in so many positive effects for America and the West, I’m feeling better about the China threat than I was last year.
Smoldering remnants?
“Smoldering remnants?”
Figuratively speaking...
I’ve noticed that too. If you oppose Putin you are “nazi” and if you oppose Democrats you are one, too. Birds of a feather flock together as they say.
This war is also likely to benefit China significantly.
Russia has long been a rival and a threat, with a dramatically larger nuclear arsenal.
With Russia weakened, China will likely come to politically dominate Central Asia, displacing Russia, and be able to extract big discounts on Russian oil, gas, grain, lumber and metals from Russia. Maybe they will become the kingmaker, in picking who comes after Putin. Corrupting Government officials is their specialty, and there will be a fire sale on Russian officials looking to sell influence and buy protection.
China’s Northern flank will be significantly more secure, if the Russian conventional Military capability is no longer there, to potentially change sides.
Although the USA and our Allies are ramping up Defense production, it is not really high rate production, like for a war. Rather it is an accelerating increase, ramping up to more of a Cold War.
It is still pretty significant though, and as you point out, it is accompanied by a sea change in attitude, analysis and preparation across the board. A lot of major Governments are tending to Defense more seriously, and that includes the threat from Xi in China.
It’s obvious you have no respect for anyone, even yourself.
You are going to look so foolish when this is over.
Because us taxpayers are paying for their army and funding neo-Nazis?
Anyone with a conscience should be opposed to that.
Ukraine has no influence on America or anyone else, not culturally, not as a military threat, not economically, and they are removing the enemy as a threat to us.
Some small amount of oddballs in Ukraine’s military is of no concern to us, just as the small number of Nazis in the Russian army doesn’t bother us, on the other hand, Russia is a global threat, a European threat, and their numerous communists and Stalin supporters and empire obsessions are a deadly threat to us and the reason for NATO’s existence.
“You are going to look so foolish when this is over.”
In three days...
By Victory Day on May 9th...
After a Summer of unstoppable Artillery Barrage...
When Europeans freeze without gas and overthrow their Governments...
Putin now says it will be a long war. That confirms that the end is approaching.
This Winter and Spring are Putin’s last hurrah before he has basically expended the old Soviet stockpiles. Current Russian production is only a tiny fraction of current expenditure rates. When the stockpiles are gone, Russian combat power in the field is going to drop like a rock. For good (at least a decade).
The collective West can keep the current rate of Military support flowing to the Ukraine in perpetuity. The Nations providing Military Aid to the Ukraine have about 50 times the GDP that Russia had before sanctions, or before scuttling most of their Natural Gas industry (80% of which went to Europe, and only about 5% is currently physically able to shift from Europe to other markets).
This is a repeat of what happened when it hit the Chinese people - every one was aghast at the numbers the crematoriums etc. Except ... it was all fake - manufactured by the CCP. Believe none of this latest CCP hype.
chungman, RuZZians are dying by the thousands every month.
Celebrate. Sing and dance!
I think if we have to fight China, Russia was prepared to make bold moves in Europe and tie down NATO allies and us, distracting from focusing on China, a war that could turn into a WWII-type war for survival and the future.
A war against China could leave America and the West severely blooded and wounded, and a strong Russia would not ignore that.
Western arms manufacturers are getting new funds and our weapons systems and methods and concepts of adequate weapon stores and usage rates are being tested in Ukraine.
My perception was that the West had gone to sleep on these defense/dependence issues, and now fresh hot blood is circulating in Western military and political circles, with more thought given to weakness and dependence, a reminder that history isn’t over and reality still exists.
You can count on me to be right here to rub your nose in it too.
This is going to another disaster like Afghanistan. Like Iraq and like Libya. A pointless disaster undertaken under false pretenses.
In the aftermath, Europeans and those in the former state of Ukraine are going to think long and hard about who provoked this entire thing, who maliciously destroyed those gas pipelines, and who caused them so much misery.
“Because us taxpayers“
You are a RuZZian taxpayer, not an American taxpayer.
I should feel bad for you because you are very sick. Sick right to your core. But I don’t, because the less people on earth like you, the better off we’ll be.
“This is going to another disaster like Afghanistan.”
It is already a much worse disaster for Russia, than Afghanistan was for the Soviet Union (whose Military was four times larger, and had the Warsaw Pact Countries as allies).
Over four times as many Russians killed in the Ukraine this year, as a decade in Afghanistan, and more materiel lost.
I will try to post today’s WiU tomorrow - Doctors appt kept me busy today.
Keep in mind the people who build China’s Ghost cities are pretty much the same folks that build China’s arms: the lowest bidder using the cheapest materials paying the highest bribes wins the contract.
