CNN hosted Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer for a dinner and joint interview at Hunan Dynasty.
CNN reporter Jamie Gangel led the conversation.
Gangel:
“I want to talk about how the two of you navigated working with former President Trump.”
With a chilling giggle, Schumer replied:
“We had a good time.”
Gangel:
“Was there a strategy when you went into a meeting? Was there a good cop/bad cop?”
Pelosi:
"So I’m thinking, ‘How is he going to begin?’ Is he going to quote the Constitution, American history, [a] poet, the Bible?”
Mocking Trump, Pelosi continued:
“‘You know, I won the popular vote.’ And I said, ‘Mr. President, that’s just not true.'”
Speaking of the first government shutdown, Schumer gleefully shared:
"We sort of set him up, instinctively. We didn’t plan this.”
Pelosi gushed:
“Chuck was masterful. He was masterful.”
Schumer:
"She set him up so I could go in for the kill.”

“for the kill” - sounds like a threat to me, although our mostly corrupt and almost totally spineless GOP won’t do a dang thing. Sigh.

thats ok...Trump still won in 2016 and became the most consequential President in the last 50 years....a 6-3 conservative Supreme court....Roe v Wade destroyed on her watch....Obama care ravaged into a shell of what they intended it to be...Across the board tax over haul....and best of all, prevented their dream of a “historic first female President”...stopping their feminist “hero”....AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
These vile, horrible people are a test. It takes all the grace we can manage to endure the injustice these two flaunt. Imagine being Trump and listening to these two. The day will come but it seems to take forever.

The injustice is profound. At least Trump can take some comfort in knowing that there are millions of us out here who appreciate his efforts and can see clearly who the good guys and the bad guys are.

I’m not sure a single baby will be saved by roe turning over. In fact, many states lifted all restrictions now. The tax cuts are great for the rich but for most they expire in 2026. I guess if those are wins….
