This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

McCaul is one of the best Rs from Texas.
“Incoming House Foreign Affairs chairman favors heavily arming Ukraine “100%”“
Incoming House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul, Republican of Texas, enthusiastically supports continuing to aid Ukraine in its hard-fought war against Russia.
“I think going with the amount of investment we’ve had is very small relative to destroying the Russian military,” he told CBS News in an interview Friday. “And that’s what we’ve done without one American soldier being attacked, killed or in country. To me, that’s a pretty good investment.”
Asked if he would favor more heavily arming the Ukrainians to bring the war to a faster conclusion, McCaul responded, “100% because the longer you drag this out, the more bloodshed.”
You can’t make this stuff up.
“Putin’s Propaganda Chief Urges ‘War Over People’s Minds’”
“One afternoon late August, as Russia’s military pursued its invasion in Ukraine, one of Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s top advisers was mustering public-relations officials from government bodies and ministries for a fight on the home front.
“The main war that is taking place right now is the war over people’s minds,” Sergei Kiriyenko, a longtime aide to Mr. Putin charged with key domestic and Ukraine policies, said in a speech at a closed meeting. “All of us in this room are the special forces fighting this war.”
The Aug. 30 speech, a recording of which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, gives a rare insight into Mr. Putin’s efforts to mobilize all of society for Russia’s war with Ukraine and its neighbor’s Western backers.”
I am surprised that the landing lights were on. On U.S. jets, the landing lights won't come on unless all landing gear are down and locked. This allows control tower personnel to visually confirm the landing gears are down.
It appears that the runway was not foamed...lots of sparks.
Lucky the whole thing didn’t burst into flames. Could he dump all the fuel except what he needed to land?
Jettison external stores? Yes, especially munitions. However, some external stores should be retained. For example: Empty external wing fuel tanks should not be jettisoned.
There are some landing gear malfunctions where landing all gear up is preferred. For example if only one main gear comes down, all gear up is preferred.
