I remember reading an article a few weeks ago where a USGS scientist stationed in Asia was talking about “sounds” they had detected under the Pacific plate. He said it sounded like it was magma and the plate was on the move. A couple days later, Indonesia had a shaker, then the Solomon Islands, then South America, then Mauna Loa.......Guess he was right
