Good ‘un.
Does anybody know what Lucy’s last name was from that strip?
Van Pelt.
Great backstory on the making of A Charlie Brown Christmas. It broke the mold for cartoon animated Christmas specials from the use of actual child actors speaking very adult dialog...
“Don’t think of it as dust. Think of it as maybe the soil of some great past civilization. Maybe the soil of ancient Babylon. It staggers the imagination. Maybe carrying soil that was trod upon by Solomon, or even Nebuchadnezzar.”
to a jazz-themed soundtrack, to Linus reciting from the Gospel of Luke.

I think the only ones that have first and last names are the Browns (Charlie, Sally) and Van Pelts (Lucy, Linus).
Next thing you know these guys will be claiming that Easter is about something other than bunnies and eggs.
..as he said while dropping his security blanket, “Fear not....”
Peanuts creator Charles M Schultz was actually from Minnesota
Sad the actor who voiced the words of Charlie, took his own life this year.
Well, the comic strip had some others with last names. Minir characters Molly Volley and Charlotte Braun come to mind.
Banned to Apple+ TV anyway.
Bee got me again.
Peppermint Patty's real name is Patricia Reichardt and Violet's last name is Gray-- Violet Gray. The Little Red Haired Girl was named Heather Wold. The girl who always bragged about her naturally curly hair was Frieda Rich. Franklin (the Black kid) was (unofficially) Franklin Armstrong. Marcie's surname is variously given as "Johnson" or Carlin.
Interesting info, thanks. Come to think of it, I now remember that Linus and Lucy were siblings. It’s been a while since I read a Peanuts strip. I don’t remember the Van Pelt surname ever being used in the strip.
The moment at which he ditched his security blanket was significant/symbolic.
How dare he.
Hurts so good.
It is a bit of fun today!
Unfortunately.
