The DC Kangaroo Court today found Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes guilty of seditious conspiracy.

Several other Oath Keepers members were also found guilty today in the DC court.

Rhodes will now serve many years in prison for being found guilty of trumped-up charges.

Steve Baker listed out the Oath Keepers members and the verdicts against them.

As you read the verdicts below, please understand that these men and woman did nothing wrong. They committed no violence. They planned no violence. They were unarmed. Rhodes did not ever enter the US Capitol. The members who did enter the capitol committed no violence.

I'd like for Ron DeSantis to be asked by the press if he'd pardon the January 6 political prisoners. I wonder what his answer would be?

I'd like to see someone ask Trump why he didn't pardon them before leaving office...

Superb idea.. that would be very illuminating.....

Which is probably why it will never happen.

They hadn’t been charged a federal crime yet before he left office.

didn’t stop Ford from pardoning Nixon or Carter from granting mass amnesty to Vietnam war draft evaders.

And Tipllub thought he had such a good smear of President Trump going and you had to ruin it!

These severe TDS/NeverTrumpers are even more unhinged, than in 2015-16.

One would really have to get one’s magnifying glass out to determine if the timing and circumstances were the same. I think it’s unlikely.

He could have issued a blanket pardon for any and all crimes that might have occurred, but didn’t. There are no limits really on a presidents pardon powers.

Can a President pardon a person prior to a conviction? I don’t think so, that would be a pardon after his presidency ended.

DeSantis is a governor so I doubt he would take the bait.

the majority weren’t even ID’d at the time Trump left office. And nobody was going to defend the idiots who went thru breaking windows and doors and trashing offices, which most everyone thought would be the only ‘accused’.

Didn't Ford pardon Nixon before Nixon was even charged with anything?

“As a result of certain acts or omissions occurring before his resignation from the Office of President, Richard Nixon has become liable to possible indictment and trial for offenses against the United States. Whether or not he shall be so prosecuted depends on findings of the appropriate grand jury and on the discretion of the authorized prosecutor. Should an indictment ensue, the accused shall then be entitled to a fair trial by an impartial jury, as guaranteed to every individual by the Constitution.

It is believed that a trial of Richard Nixon, if it became necessary, could not fairly begin until a year or more has elapsed. In the meantime, the tranquility to which this nation has been restored by the events of recent weeks could be irreparably lost by the prospects of bringing to trial a former President of the United States. The prospects of such trial will cause prolonged and divisive debate over the propriety of exposing to further punishment and degradation a man who has already paid the unprecedented penalty of relinquishing the highest elective office of the United States.

Now, Therefore, I, Gerald R. Ford, President of the United States, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Article II, Section 2, of the Constitution, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto Richard Nixon for all offenses against the United States which he, Richard Nixon, has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 20, 1969 through August 9, 1974”

Pardons, even blanket pardons not naming individuals, before charges has been done several times in US history. Confederates in the aftermath of the Civil War, Vietnam draft dodgers, and Richard Nixon are examples.

Because the uniparty where threatening to convict Trump for impeachment if he did....you know all things are subjective, so they could convict for whatever they thought they could get away with...there are many republicans who wanted Trump out of the way for good but knew it would end their political careers...like it did for Senate Pat Toomey (PA).

You’ll say anything to make this somehow Trump’s fault, but you have nothing at all to say against the actual tyrants. You disgust me.

When he had total and complete power to pardon everyone involved and didn’t, that disgusts me.

But maybe it’s just me that expects support from those I support.

Blaming President Trump for Jan 6 political prisoners might be the single stupidest thing I’ve ever heard in my entire life.
