I believe that is mostly true.
I would expect the actual generators would be in hardened facilities. They would be spaced out and enclosed in a concrete structure that would then take multiple missiles to destroy one generator.
I have not read or seen any articles indicating attacks on generators.
The weak links in the electric infrastructure are electric substations. One missile could damage multiple transformers. A cruise missile with a dummy warhead could be effective against an electric substation.
My hope is the repaired substations are being enclosed and spaced out in hardened facilities.
If that is done, then the only electric targets would be power lines.
Easy and quick to repair.
“History” shows us that if Russians can’t steal it they destroy it. People, property, land. Everything. Those are prototypical Nazi traits. Fuhrer Putin and his Russian world are genuine Nazis. Nothing “neo” about them.
“Fuhrer Putin and his Russian world are genuine Nazis”
Once again, you fail at history in all the projecting you do, idiot.
And tens of millions who fought in WWII to defeat Nazism/Fascism, to include Russians, rolled over in their grave as you and your cohorts steadily spit on their graves...
It regularly posts wild and ugly ideas. How about their ridiculous post about "Jewish Nazis" from November 29th?
Your source, or perhaps it is your own account, posts really crazy anti-semitic and anti American propaganda:
"Ukrainian Nazis will be flying planes into our buildings with the help of the CIA/Mossad cabal"
"Parents who have been victims of child abductions & child sex trafficking rings in America are arming themselves to strike Israel's Mossad agents"
Thanks for showing us who you really are cranked - someone who posts virulently anti-American, anti-semitic, anti-Ukraine, anti-Israel propaganda and pro-Russian propaganda.
Some Russian trolls believe that flying close air support sorties would indicate that Russia has Air Superiority.
What it really means is that Russia doesn't have enough artillery in place to support the assault. Or that Russia consider HIMARs counter battery is more of a threat than MANPADs.
A couple of days ago, Speedy linked a video of a MANPAD operator that contained some interesting information...particularly how difficult it is to shoot down fighter aircraft with a MANPAD.
“Thanks for showing us you really are a Russian propaganda poster.”
You have no utter clue who I am other than being one of the main voices within FR that call you and your fellow propaganda peddlers out for the utter BS you all post up and steadily spew.
And be assured, I will continue to do so, peddler.
“Some Russian trolls believe that flying close air support sorties would indicate that Russia has Air Superiority.”
You alleged ‘FtrPilot,’ show me where Ukrainian air superiority is when Russia is running 30-40 sorties a day.
*crickets*
Caring about the US is fine, and not wanting the US to involved in some overseas situation is an opinion any American is welcome to have, but why do you choose to side with an enemy of the USA and repeat their propaganda as a part of your opposition to US support for Ukraine?
Do you consider the people that posted pro Vietnamese propaganda against our US POWs and soldiers in Vietnam because they were against the Vietnam war to have acted correctly?
Did Jane Fonda do a good thing? Were John Kerry's lies about his fellow soldiers a good thing?
If so, why didn't you post ISIS and Al Qaeda propaganda during the US involvement in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria?
Do you really think that the USA and Israel are participants in a giant organ harvesting conspiracy?
“Do you really think that the USA and Israel are participants in a giant organ harvesting conspiracy?”
Ask the US General.
Ask ZelesnkyyIdiot.
You have provided nothing, no source, no sources, nothing, to disprove that which has been leveled and/or asserted.
Not very impressive.
Hello, Ukrainian air superiority where?
Its the transformers that cannot be readily replaced - without which generators do nothing but spin, generating electricity to no where.
Most transformers are custom built and take years to replace due to limited manufacturing and long lead time. Some one will have to ship boat loads of them to Ukraine. But the Orcs will just repeat the cycle - using Iranian missiles if they have to.
There is just as much evidence to support that statement as the nonsense you posted. Your source is just a twitter account posting propaganda.
Is it your twitter account?
Stop deviating, peddler.

Reading the enraged name-calling from both sides of the Ukrainian/Russian conflict, I have begun to wonder if I am witnessing a troll war here on FreeRepublic.
Which is more than you provided. All you did was post an image of a tweet from some propaganda channel. That's less than nothing.
You are just showing how lousy you are at posting propaganda, and that's funny because it is probably your job. No pelmeni for you today, comrade.
BeauBo's post at #97 states "The US is giving Ukraine $53M and another $56M is coming from Germany to supply Ukraine with transformers and other key parts for the repair of the Ukrainian electrical grid."
I believe that prior to the war Ukraine was supplying electricity to at least one EU country. I'm guessing that electricity in Europe is standardized at 240 volts at 50 hertz. What I don't understand is...If Ukraine's electricity is the same as EU then why would the transformers need to be custom built?
Please remember that I am a pilot and not an electrical engineer. Thanks!
Yeah, as par, modus operandi for you in your daily idiotic spewing of BS.
Spew out
Back it with nothing
Spew more
Backed with nothing
Slap self on back thinking you done something...
No, you are just watching some patriotic Americans push back against people who are either paid Russian propaganda posters, or people who for some reason have decided that posting Russian propaganda is a good way to try to influence American policy regarding Ukraine.
If you want a feel for the kind of things some of us are pushing back against go to the twitter account which created the post about organ harvesting and read what they have to say. I think you will find a lot of their opinions and claims to be repugnant. As one example, I don't believe that the USA was working in partnership with ISIS to "hunt down Christians in Syria and Iraq".
