On October 31st, Trump asked the Supreme Court to block the House Ways and Means Committee from getting six years of his tax returns.

That request has been denied by the Supreme Court.
Fox News reported:
But on Tuesday, Roberts formally denied the request.
“The application for stay of the mandate presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is denied,” the order states. “The order heretofore entered by The Chief Justice is vacated.”
The House Ways and Means Committee first requested six years of Trump’s tax returns in 2019.
Trump’s tax records are currently in the hands of the Treasury Department, which had held off releasing them pending final court action.
They denied the request without comment – no dissents were noted.

All nine of them today. There were no dissents obviously the Supremes think the house is authorized to see them. I’m hoping four of the years are his presidential years and then the last two before he was president. He was campaigning so hopefully there’s no Riff Raff involved.

This legitimizes their possession of the tax returns. If there was anything actionable in them, they would have acted already. However, now that the public believes the Dems have the returns, they are primed to believe any lie about them.
There would have been a whistle blower from the company/companies that have submitted his taxes on his behalf all these years, if there was anything suspicious. People will do anything for money, and there wouldn't be any legal repercussions for that person, because it was Trump he was snitching on. Trump's own niece released whatever tax returns she had access to, to Rachel Maddow, and nothing happened to her. She just lost her suit over her inheritance against President Trump.
