I'm not a Twit so I have no knowledge of what goes on there, except for Tweets people post about or link to on FreeRepublic threads. I have never had any interest in playing in that sewer. If Musk manages to make it more suitable for normal people, I might spend more time there, but still won't join; I have no time for hobbies as it is.
Elon has not yet shed enough of the internal Twitter Wokists.

Happens that the day after Donald Trump’s property rights were violated by the FBI raid at MAL, some washed-up has-been “actress” (being synonymous, historically, with “prostitute”) name of Ellen Barkskin or something, posted a note that it was time to HANG treasonous presidents without being specific.
SO, me being me, I posted something to the effect that “why, yes, I agree totally, Bathhouse Barry Soetero Obeyme SHOULD hang for his acts of treason.”
I was summarily ejected from the publishing site.
Oh, well, I still have a life.
They go through, but only for a glance.
I get to see the top of the Tweet thread; that's usually enough to get the idea, or view the meme. Scrolling below that brings up the "login or join" dialog, which I dismiss.
Like I said, I don't have any interest in getting caught in the sewer.

I don't think it would be embarrassing at all. Elon should restore his account just on principle. I don't care if Trump posts there or not, but I'm not returning as an active Twitter user until this is done.
