I have written and deleted a thousand words, repeatedly, in an effort to encapsulate what this moment means to me, and perhaps to others. However, when you boil the essence of the thing down to its important part, you are left with a question: Which American politician loves this country more than Donald John Trump?
The honest answer is ‘no one’.
There’s not a force of man or nature as strong in its devotion to a mission, as Donald Trump is to this nation. That’s the core, the heart, the genuine essence of the thing, that separates President Trump from all others. Within that love of country, is a strength of determination that is almost uncanny to witness; and from that love of country an authenticity emanates that is impossible to duplicate.
Donald J Trump is, quite simply, unapologetically American – and tens of millions just love him for it.
Tonight, with his family by his side, President Donald Trump announced his intention to seek the GOP nomination in 2024 and run for President of the United States.

Yes, I don’t give a flying flip what any detractor of this nation might try to say, Donald Trump is exactly what we need.
Many people are exhausted from the battle to save this republic. Many people are frustrated and despondent from the scale of the effort it takes to push back against the metastatic corruption that has infected our entire body politic. Even more people are tired of having to constantly look behind the duplicitous motives and conniving schemes of the professional political class, and for those people Trump kneels and says, ‘get on my back and rest for a moment’.
You see, back in 2015 when Donald Trump first announced his intention to run for the presidency the following year, the assembly on these pages had spent years fighting against the corrupt republican political establishment while most just strolled by oblivious to it. We assembled as The Last Refuge, and we immediately spotted the possibility Donald J Trump represented.
One of the first 2015 responses about Trump I shared to a friend who didn’t follow politics closely but was essentially and ally in outlook, was that Donald Trump could show up to the first GOP debate in 5″ heels and a Carmen Miranda hat and start dancing on Jeb Bush’s podium, and Trump would earn my vote.
I felt that way because I could see the cancerous rot that was destroying the working class and simultaneously infecting the Republican party. Severe measures would be needed to counteract this Machiavellian political construct in DC that was only getting worse. We needed a major disruption and Donald Trump was ideal for that role.
As I look at the 2024 landscape what I see different is what I see better. Just about everyone now sees the level of corruption that exists in the apparatus of government, thanks to President Trump’s first term in office.
Additionally, President Trump purged the conniving DeceptiCons, the duplicitous Republicans who existed to maintain the UniParty, by forcing the GOPe liars to expose themselves in his opposition. No longer is a conversation needed to convince people that most politicians are part of one DC UniParty apparatus. Two wings of the same corrupt vulture feeding on the carcass of our republic. Everyone can see that now, thanks to Donald Trump.
Despite their refusal to accept reality, the Bush, Cheney, McConnell, McCain, Romney Republican Party is gone. Donald Trump destroyed it. The Republican Party will never again be the Bush-Romney Republican Party. Donald Trump opened the door, and the working-class has moved in to take control. The Republican party is not going back to the Bush/Romney outlook, regardless of how much Mitch McConnell tries to scheme its return.
We need a Big Ugly wrecking ball to unseat the corrupt power structures that Trump alone made visible. There is no other person in this era of our nation’s history with the capacity to do that. Only Donald J Trump has the energy and fortitude to carry out this fight.
President Trump is the people’s response to The Great Reset by saying, “like hell you will.”
I would not miss this opportunity for anything.

Thank God for Donald Trump, but ultimately our job is to put our trust in the Divine Providence of God Almighty who miraculously birthed our nation and I think getting ready to miraculously recover and restore our nation now. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and cursed is the man that trusts in man (Jeremiah 17:5-8).
With loving Trump and trusting in God not man as our framework, I’ll say this: unconstitutional federal takeover of state sovereignty is NOT a good precedent. Trump needs a Constitutional Amendment for the feds to interfere with state elections including presidential elections.
Great unconstitutional federal push for “good” can easily turned into almost immediate overthrow of a Free America by a rogue unconstitutional federal government, once the wrong people, like now, are in power even for a short time.
Today’s national and constitutional crisis calls for either very temporary government acts or a constitutional amendment to do what is otherwise the “right thing” by violating the Constitution.
Lincoln suspended constitutionally protected habeas corpus but only because it was during the emergency of the Civil War. Well, we are in just as dire times now, so for now let’s say federal muscling in on State sovereignty may be necessary during their Leftist coup d’état but let’s call it what it is - TEMPORARY.
When things get back to headed toward normal, the feds need to RESPECT our beloved Constitution. PERIOD!!! And no unconstitutional “quick trials”. Please.
Our mission is to restore America’s Free Constitutional Republic. To the degree “the policies of MAGA” do that, to that degree MAGA is our mission.
Free: This is where the fight is. God-given individual liberty to do and live as each person chooses free from unconstitutional government interference and coercion IS the issue.
Constitutional: The Constitution is the only legal bulwark of liberty against government tyranny which is defined as unconstitutional government acts and agencies (AKA “Deep State” AKA “The Swamp”). To viably protect our God-given liberty, the Constitution MUST be reinstated as the Supreme law of the Land.
Republic: Small, localized, and representative governance is the constitutional way WE THE PEOPLE are to run our great and beloved America.
How do we accomplish our mission?
1) To do whatever it takes to dismantle the $3+ trillion 80%+ unconstitutional portion of the federal government.
2) reinstate constitutional state sovereignty.
3) reinstate the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the Land over the federal government.
I don’t give a sh#t about politics, political correctness, personalities, or the man in the moon. This is what we must do to restore our beloved and beautiful country.
We Patriotic Americans must keep this long-term view of our mission and goals in mind always. Trump is the first substantive step towards this recovery and certain TEMPORARILY extreme and even unconstitutional steps may be required to right this ship of state. But as soon as we can, we need to align with the mission of restoring our Free Constitutional Republic.
To the degree I see Trump beginning the process of recovering and restoring our great nations, to that degree I love him and support him. Few are willing to give up so much as Trump has to fight for what the Left has stolen from us.
A constitutionally valid Natty Born Citizen, through and through.
No competing considerations.
Add to that a heaping serving of righteous indignation and we’ve got ourselves a hit-to-trot POTUS candidate.

Did you know Trump's speech was aired almost in its entirety on CNN, CSPAN and Fox News? Who watches those networks? Not us. We don't trust the MSM. So Trump has new eyeballs on him. What was he supposed to do? Come out in loud, aggressive fashion in front of D's who were already brainwashed to believe Trump was a madman? Instead he comes out calm, collected, thoughtful, nonthreatening in ANY way. This is a marketing tactic called "pattern interruption." People expect to see you perform one way so they already have preset rebuttals for what they THINK you're going to do. But you come out a completely DIFFERENT way and confuse them...they didn't "game plan" for that. So instead of Trump looking like a raging maniac that the MSM pushed to their sheep, Trump looks shockingly sane. And guess what? He spoke for a whole hour and hasn't stuttered and stumbled once. No slurred speech. No forgotten thoughts or sentences that started in one way and ended up no where. This is important...because the people who watch the MSM are used to seeing 2 years of dementia. Now they circle back to Trump for the first time in probably 2 years and hear his voice very differently. Since CNN was watching, no mention of election fraud. Did Trump sell out? No. He has to keep the cameras rolling. He mentions stolen elections, and the cameras go off, the new people don't hear the rest of Trumps words. And what's Trump saying? He's saying the SAME THING he said and warned them about on the campaign trail. Back then they thought he was lying...now they know he was always telling the truth. He just won a larger audience of voters now. But this is only the beginning..."

To get the ball rolling on that, the Donald might need to convert to the One True Faith.

The fashion of the hour is to follow the MSM line that “conservatives no longer like Trump” and “the GOP has moved beyond Trump.”
I predict some event(s) in the USA over the next year, which demand a loud voice and strong leadership, will bring Trump to the fore even more

I was one of those who was watching Trump on FOX NEWS until HANNITY interrupted the speech with some blathering comments by him and others. I watched the balance of Trump’s speech on C-SPAN
He may be back. However can he overcome the globalists, the biased MSM, the leftist billionaires, the social media companies with their deceptive algorithms and censorship, the fraudsters, the RINOs and the decadents who always vote Democrats that support the demented corrupt Biden and his marxist cabal? Let’s hope so.

Imagine if Trump runs, loses in ‘24 due to vote fraud and donkey party dirty tricks, runs again in ‘28, and wins.
While his first term Trump delivered energy independence and a thriving economy, the vitriol, never ending investigations and impeachments tore the country apart. We could expect even worse should he run again. I am torn about whether to support Trump or someone like DeSantis. I may be naive, but I would hope we could find another Reagan who could bring the country together. Sadly I believe that the deep political divide in the country that has been fostered by the Democrats and their hate Trump allies may be permanent. Our country hasn’t been this divided since the Civil War. My dilemma is whether to support Trump knowing his zeal to drain the Washington swamp and ability to get the country out of Biden’s ditch, but risk further fracturing of the United States as a nation or support someone less volatile who might accomplish much of the same goals but keep us united as a country.
Either we play by the new rules or we lose. Cali repubs are playing the game.
Mail-in ballots are the norm, not the exception. 35 of 50 states use them now. Only 7 states mass mail them to everyone on the voter rolls.
Ballot harvesting is LEGAL in about half the states. It doesn't matter whether we like the new rules.

Mail in, early voting, drop off boxes and counting of votes received several days later so long as postmarked on election day is *NOT* going away, period.
