People here on FR can complain about Trump all they want. Personally, I find it hilarious that a major political figure would post sh!t like this on his social media page about a sitting U.S. president. LMAO.

I think that such can be said for almost anyone running for President, he just isn't as much a dissembler as most. As a promoter he puts it out there.

Trump probably cost himself a billion buck in the last seven years doing all that he did and I damn well appreciate it. We all know the guy has rough edges, but they are sure useful sometimes. Don't just tear at him without doing a lot of explaining as to what you have that will run and win instead.

It’s obviously the viability of the country. He has a real sense of urgency. He thinks he’s the only one who can fix it. He may be right since everyone else seems afraid to identify the problem. If he only cared about Trump he would have been in the world’s richest man race like Bezos and Musk. Instead he’s trying to make the country he loves great again. I do believe a lot of people see it as you see it though. I would suggest to him to go on a speaking tour where he isn’t campaigning so much as explaining why he Loves America.

I’ll hold my nose and vote for Trump if he’s the only choice we’ve got, I don’t believe he’ll be allowed to run let alone win in 2024.

It’s good for Trump to save the United States. So when he saves the country for his own reasons, that benefits everybody.

If he runs, I’ll support him and vote for him.
However, I wish he’d learn to share the spotlight, build powerful alliances and stop unnecessary burning of bridges.

Cue the Trump’s responsible for the election debacle crew. He’s no more responsible than he was when he was robbed in 2020. After 1/7/21, anyone who did not know this was going to happen is like the sappy SOB at the Globetrotters game, cheering his head off, thinking the Generals are going to pull this one out.

How do you think they’d stop him from running?

People who manipulate others are the ones saying this, and they’re getting you to believe it.

> He [Trump] thinks he’s the only one who can fix it. <

Well, he’s probably correct about that. DeSantis, etc. might have a lot of good ideas. But Trump is bolder than they are, and so is more likely to push things through.

But here’s the problem. And it’s a big problem. Trump is saying things that are pushing away the middle. I didn’t mind the “mean tweets” thing at first, as that mainly upset leftists who wouldn’t vote for Trump anyway.

But now I’m seeing middle-of-the-road acquaintances of mine move away from Trump. Soft conservatives, too. Trump needs those votes!

And so we need a Trump 2.0. And Trump needs a wise consigliere whom he will actually listen to. If it’s Trump 2.0 in 2024 primaries, I’m with him. If it’s Trump 1.1, I must reluctantly move on.

Overall, Trump was a great president - terrific in many ways but horrible in a couple of key others (personnel selections, covid response with Fauci). Both of them probably cost him the election 2020, along with his flatfooted legal response to states that were implementing their mass mail voting/ballot harvesting regimes under the auspices of a pandemic.

In 2016 he was something people hadn’t seen before and decided to give him a try, but he’s not new and different anymore and his antics are getting old. Sadly, the last year of his presidency with the pandemic has probably erased a lot of the memory people had of his first 3 very prosperous years. If there were some way to snap our fingers and put him back into office we would, but we have to be smart about this election.

It’s not fair that a president as horrendous, destructive, mentally incompetent and vindictive as Biden stands any chance of winning reelection. If he were a Republican, he would have already been forced out by now, but Democrats have built some enormous structural advantages with money and lax voting laws that will be difficult for us to overcome even against such a terrible candidate.

We basically need to win 3ish out of 5 now pretty difficult states: AZ, GA, WI, PA and NV. Michigan and NH are likely gone. It’s doable, but it’s also losable to very losable depending upon whom we pick as the nominee.

I don’t know about the others but they are stocking PA with illegal aliens by the trainload, to vote the Moocher Party.
