Copy the text into Windows Notepad, then add the various HTML tags there (paragraph tag, bold, italic, underline font effects, URL links, etc)

then just recopy the result back into the from Notepad into the FR "Your Rely" window and press on the "Preview" radio button underneat to see what happens if you post it.

(I sent him a FReepmail asking if he wanted the revised version, but he never answered.. he has been missing for awhile ☹).

SUGGESTION:

After reading this thread, should any attempt be mde
to post pictures two points:
Turn off the HTML
Tap your preview key to view your post in order to check
it before hitting the post key. Fewer headaches from those
who might constitute bodily harm. :-)

Lucky for me, I was initiated back in the 90s when I built websites using html because html was all there was. There was talk of CSS but not much for implementation. Even though I know html, I still use this browser plugin specially made for FR. http://cynwoody.appspot.com/fr_posting_form_enhancer.html

It adds formatting buttons to the posting screen for the most common html entities. It just makes things faster, especially for images and links which take time to type out in html. Click a button, paste a url, hit enter and for a link, hit Ctrl+V to paste the url as the link text. Way faster than a href=”blabla.html” or img scr=”blabla.png”

I didn’t use the plugin for this post and usually don’t but when I want italic/quote/bold, as soon as one html tag is added, everything has to have them. Also sometimes when pasting something from another website, you have to use html tags, else you don’t even get paragraphs. Just a walloftext.

I'm sorry - I didn't read your post correctly.

The picture has to be on the Internet somewhere, not just on your local machine.
