Jerry Lee Lewis, the early rock n' roll star who skyrocketed to fame with a string of hits in the 1950s, had died, his publicist confirmed to CBS News. He was 87.
Nicknamed "The Killer," Lewis was known for his energetic stage performances, which included antics such as playing the piano with his feet and lighting the instrument on fire.

Just trust me, I know my mother. She has no clue half the time of what was going on. She was “naive” and innocent. And wasn’t paying that much attention that she would notice if it was on or not. As it was, I still have her “Whole Lotta” record along with many others. So they all had plenty of records to play. And mostly, she was in Frederick going to school.
Also, the same day as Jerry Lee passed, we lost Mickey’s youngest son and a tangential friend Greg Gilley.

My mom was born in Vivian, LA on Dec 7, 1946 — about 10 months after the daddy Robertson (Duck Dynasty family).
She also dated Sherwood Cryer, and was friends with Mickey Gilley (who passed earlier this year), and at least his oldest son Keith (who she was in a pretty serious car wreck with in the late 60’s).
I’m familiar with Ferriday, of course.
