Russian soldiers on the front lines: 'It's absolute f*****g hell'

CNN highlighted this video yesterday which comes from a Ukrainian journalist. They haven’t independently confirmed the contents but the video appears to shows Russian soldiers who are near the front lines complaining about the complete lack of supplies and training.

“The sent us here without any training, without anything at all,” the soldier said. He added, “We don’t have any training or supplies and our guys showed up in their own uniforms paid for with their own money.”

A second soldier said, “We have no weapons, no ammo bags, no grenades, no belt pouches, no food, no water. It’s absolute f*****g hell. Who the hell knows. Long live the g*******d Russian Army.”

Again, this hasn’t been confirmed but it does seem to jibe with other reports. Just a week ago, the Guardian reported something very similar to what the soldiers are saying in this video clip.

From the article:

Only a mouth breathing retard would post this nonsense.

I actually feel sorry for the Russian soldiers too, the ones that are not war criminals. They don’t want any part of this. In theory a decapitation strike on the Kremlin could end the war quickly.

It’s war. It’s supposed to be hell. And you probably won’t get over it.

Meanwhile, the Ukies have little electricity, going “ dark”, their currency destroyed, their manufacturing destroyed, unheard of shortages, inflation going hyper, they are into their 8th mobilization ( 18-60 years old ) and now woman…not to mention they are now a welfare nation - it would be safe to say the Ukie population and their military has much , much worse to say than the Russian soldiers about their predicament.

Russians sure never change militarily. Even their greatest victory in 1945 was only achieved at the cost of many millions of dead soldiers. Russia beat Hitler only because every single soldier was fighting for their country’s very survival. Now you have perhaps the most cause-less invasion of all time.

Combined with massive aid from the United States, to keep their factories operating.

Now, both scenarios are reversed.

It is Ukraine which is fighting for survival and which is receiving massive amounts of western aid.

So if the Russians can’t afford bullets, food or coats and we are giving billions of dollars to their opponents how come the war isn’t already easily won? Just give one guy a gun and force them all to surrender.

They are defending their country. That gives them a much higher willingness to tolerate adversity than any hapless rusky conscript.

That's why the Communists won the war in Vietnam. And I'm speaking as someone who was there for one year.

Isn’t war supposed to be hell?

I shouldn’t make fun of it because I am the farthest thing from being a hero.
I spent my 4 years in the USAF fighting the battle of the chow line and fixing radar equipment on a cold hill in Alaska so that we could eyeball the Russkies.

I dare say the Ukrainians are enjoying a much more favourable kill/death ratio vs the Russians than the VC/NVA ever did against the Americans. Russia is losing this war, badly. The fact Russia is even getting defeated conventionally on the battlefield, something that the Americans never suffered in Vietnam, highlights just how futile this war is for Russia.
