TLDR: The invsasion has neither suceeded nor failed - YET. However, Russian weaknesses are surpassing its strenghts. The Ukrainian Armed Forces learned their lessons from 2014, whjle the Russian army has shown and not corrected seriously flaws since the fall of the USSR.
