UKRAINIAN ATTACK ON KERCH BRIDGE IN THE CRIMEA NOT GOING AS PLANNED–WILE E COYOTE LIVES!
Sonar 21 ^ | 8 October 2022 | Larry Johnson

Posted on 10/09/2022 7:23:36 AM PDT by Kazan

Boy, looks like I missed the hysteria. Instead of thumbing my way around the internet to catch the latest news on the complete devastation of Russia’s Kerch bridge that unites Crimea with Mother Russia, I was at a gun range being trained by a retired Delta Force operator. He is a hell of a teacher.

Needless to say, my time was better spent (and cheaper) compared to what Ukraine spent on its spectacular failure to destroy the Kerch bridge. Failure? Yes. The initial images of a veritable Dante’s furnace, complete with rolling clouds of black smoke and frantic tongues of flames licking the bridge, seemed to have erased Ukraine’s previous reputation for inept sabotage.

Even Pillsbury Doughboy Alexander Vindman took time off from stuffing his pudgy cheeks with donuts to celebrate the moment.

Even the Brits felt the need to pop a bottle of bubbly and cheer the “MASSIVE” explosion.

But alas, once again, Ukraine failed to deliver the mythic death blow. The bridge is open and traffic is flowing, albeit a little slower and more congested because of damage to one section of the bridge (which is easily repaired). Yes, the portion of the bridge where the truck bomb detonated is closed, but the other part of the bridge is open and operating. Not exactly a “massive” blow. An inconvenience? Yes, but it does not create an insurmountable problem for Russia.

The over joyed reaction to the limited success of this operation in the West belies a desperation. If a major section of the entire bridge had been pulverized then I would understand the jubilation and snarky comments. This is akin to the Germans celebrating the failure to blow up the Bridge at Remagen during World War II. German attempts to destroy that bridge were foiled while allied forces continued to roll into Germany. That bridge–the Ludendorf–collapsed ten days after its capture but that came too late to save the Nazis from the American and British onslaught. Patton and his troops were settled comfortably in Germany.

Let us give Ukraine credit for one thing–they are really pissing off the people of Russia and galvanizing support for Putin to take decisive action. The West insists it wants to get rid of Vladimir Putin but actions like this attack on the Kerch bridge is having the opposite effect on Putin’s popularity and his growing mandate to punish Ukraine as a terrorist state. I suspect that Ukraine will not be as chirpy once Russia chooses to respond in force.

All the Trump impeachment people are on the same side as our Biden Republicans. Wasn't dual Ukranian citizen Vindman offered a position in the Zelenskyy administration?

I mention the normalizing of terrorism since the murder of that Dugin’s girl.
The West is not much different from ISIS nowadays.

Hahahaha blowing a bridge in wartime is “terrorism”.

Frigging hilarious.

“ Wasn’t dual Ukranian citizen Vindman offered a position in the Zelenskyy administration?”

Minister of Defense, yes.

This business of allowing dual citizens to have ANY positions in the government, never mind portfolios with built-in conflicts of interest (as is the case with ALL State Department people on the Ukraine desk) is crazy.

I think Dr Steve Turley had the best take on this.

1. it was an amateurish attack
2. it was on Russian soil, killing 3 civilians, and the Ukraine govt is suggesting more is coming
3. only 20% of the Russian military has been involved so far— against one of the most powerful militaries in Europe
4. Russia got what it wanted, but if the attacks continue inside of Russia, Ukraine will get the rest of the 80%, and it won’t be as limited in targeting

Ukraine never declared war on Russia. Irony indeed huh?

No one with a foreign passport should be allowed within ten miles of a US government position.

The Constitution should be amended to close service in Congress to any such, as well.

It's stupid, stupid, stupid. Did you stomp your feet when you wrote that?

Being delusional about the war and our role in creating it IS a danger to the safety of all Americans.

We are becoming a totally corrupt nation, from top to bottom. Our Cold War relics haven’t a clue they are saluting a Potemkin America; the ideals we all loved have given way to corporatism and greed. The fight is here at home, not in the Ukraine.

The official statement was that it was a truck bomb, but I’m thinking, based on the damage and a video showing evidence of a watercraft just before the explosion (the wave), that it was attacked from the water. Possibly an unmanned, small submarine? Could that also have been used to attack the Nord Stream pipeline?

No matter that we are the aggressors and attacked their country without provocation, if they keep successfully defying us we will be forced to use nuclear weapons on them to get them to voluntarily comply.

How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Putinistas

I used to get upset that some people on Free Republic are so stupid and borderline traitors to the United States of America but then...

Ukraine started kicking Russian a** and slaughtering the Russians, the Russian government is in disarray, people are fleeing Russia....

And I realized the whole thing is hilarious parody. Vladimir Putin as a hero, Communist China as a foe of the deep state.

It’s all too funny so I just laugh in your faces now. The Ukrainians winning the war certainly helps along these lines.

Now the attack on the bridge is a loss for Ukraine I guess because because of the cost of the explosives. This really is getting funny.

Yes like Oz for Senate or anyone else.

At a minimum, Oz should be recused from voting on any legislation or treaties pertaining to Turkey.

I’m no explosives expert but IMO it looks like a truck bomb. The security video showed a truck just prior to the explosion, the roadway the truck was on looks forced downward, its displacement disconnecting two segments at either end, the roadway next to it is only scorched, and there just happened to be a train carrying fuel adjacent to the explosion.

Hahahaha I’ll tell you what is funny. I’ll bet you dollars to donuts that some of the newer Putin lovers on here are government agents from the Biden administration DOJ and you idiots are stupid enough to give them the anti-American pro Russian statements they are here to gather.

How’s that for a hilarious conspiracy theory boys?

There is obviously a pattern. Ivan will now be scouring the sea floor under the bridge looking for the remains from the attack instrument, which won't prove who did it, just maybe who made it. Probably some high tech Lend-Lease to the Ukies. We should expect more.
