Russia shut down Nordstream I in July for “repairs,” and it never re-opened. In fact, at the beginning of September Russia shut it down indefinitely.
Nordstream II was never open for business because Germany never certified it, and in April Germany announced it never would certify it. Russia shut down the pipeline.
So, Nordstream I and II were out of operation for good BEFORE the explosions earlier this week.
Question: Where is all the natural gas coming from that is bubbling up on the surface if both pipelines were shut down at the source?
>>So, Nordstream I and II were out of operation for good BEFORE the explosions earlier this week.<<
Then why the gas escape from broken line?
