I listened to Biden demand and threaten them earlier today. I suspect we’ll see hire gas prices again tomorrow morning when we get up. What is he going to do about it?
King Puppet is a mouthy little b@stard.
Gas in calif is already over 6.00 again due to refinery maintance
What he always does first thing in the morning:
Fill his diaper, and then demand an ice cream cone for "making Big Boy doody"...
Investigate this schmuck for selling off the SPR to the Chicoms.
$6.79 at one local Chevron here in Reno. A friend sent a picture to me today of $8.25 gas in California somewhere.
Baloney! What kind of “market” results in a 52 cent per gallon difference between two stations across the street from each other?
They may not be gouging because of the hurricane but they sure as hell have been gouging us for a long time.
Maybe some folks dont like being lied about? LGB+
Either the cost of the last shipment or the cost of the next, causes such swings.
They will be again close in a day or two.
It’s much worse than this.
I have it on good authority (this is fact that cannot be confirmed) that CA gov newsom personally called a major power producer in the state and ‘requested’ that he scale back his utility’s power output because “he was producing too much power.”
It wasn’t 12 hours later when he got a call from the feds ‘requesting’ the same, for like reasons.
He told them - basically - to get bent due to the cost of restarting the facilities (in the millions of $$).
His utility produces electricity from oil deep in the heart of liberal CA.
Footnote: I also have it on good authority that he told Newsom that if there was any fallout from his denial that he would ‘out’ the facts about power generation in CA, particularly his utility’s use of oil for newsom’s electricity grid. Newsom obviously made a phone call and the feds chimed in; unknown is whether the utility owner was amused or pissed off that newsom made the call to the feds. Whether or not the media reports on the details in my comment in the coming days will answer that question...
Oh that station in around San Fran only one in that town
$3.19/gallon here in Tennessee for ethanol-free gas.
Sorry, a 6% profit margin is not gauging
Interesting....
āPrice gougingā?
Nope.
Breaking: Hurricane Devastates Florida.
[Gasoline Prices Rise 15% in California]

There’s a corner near Houston airport with the same thing. The one on the side of the street right before the rental car return is always 40-50 cents higher than the one on the other side of the street.
Which one do you think has the longest lines? The higher priced one. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember.
If you don’t like the price, there is a choice. How is that gouging? Still too high? Buy a Buttgiggles electric car.

$3.59 in FL before and after the hurricane. It appears only Dem areas have price gouging. Apparently everyone is a crook in D areas.
After 911 a lot of gas stations in our town jacked up gas prices except for a few. I made note of this and only patronized those that didn’t raise prices.
