It was Yarosh's "Right Sektor" militias who occupied government buildings in Kiev, and battled with police sent to retake Government buildings. after the Maidan Coup, in 2014, the Right Sektor militias were re-branded into the Azov Battalions. Many were sent to the USA for military training and wound up in the Donbas, fighting the Russian-speaking separatists.
