Polio is mysteriously surging through New York City and almost certainly in other places across the nation. A state of emergency has been declared by Governor Kathy Hochul as scientists warn that this is a vaccine-derived version of the deadly disease.
Now, data points are emerging, albeit slowly, in western media as the scourge of Bill Gates is becoming clear. This has been well known in places like India where the World Health Organization and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have worked hard to get the live oral polio vaccine administered to as many people as possible. The results: Nearly half-a-million children have become paralyzed since 2000.
One might wonder how this could possibly be allowed to continue in India, Africa, and other developing regions. The answer is infuriating. They’ve gotten away with it because they renamed the disease. Seriously. The massive number of adverse reactions are being blamed on “non-polio acute flaccid paralysis” (NPAFP), which honest scientists and doctors admit is just a rebranding of a new and more deadly strain of polio that emerged from the vaccines.

Answer the question, get abuse anyway. Typical day.
If your hide ain’t thick enough it’s your question to answer. 20 years is a good long time to run with any bunch. Especially one as tight as the folks here. To say some of us are highly protective would not be an understatement.
Who threatened you with expulsion? We don’t call it that here.
I’m already here.
Hang in there. There are still rational FReepers with reasoned arguments here. The problem is there's a vocal minority of conspiracy theorists who are impervious to evidence and are looking for childish explanations (evil supervillain plotting to kill us all!) for complex issues.
Some of these conspiracy threads have amusement value but don't bother trying to reason people out of a position they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.
You made me laugh. Thank you!
Well said, Semimojo.
To Hopefullamerican: FR used to be very different, before that vocal minority came on the scene. We had lively (and occasionally boisterous) debates, but reason and goodwill (prerequisites for productive debate and problem solving) prevailed nearly all the time. There were lots of smart Freepers and I learned so much from them. There still some left.
For whatever reason, this newish vocal minority think they are above following Jim Robinson’s rules (which is disrespectful to him as well as to their fellow Freepers here), but it is what it is. Best to ignore these people when possible. As Semimojo pointed out, they cannot be reasoned with.
The rest of us choose to follow the rules no matter what. They are very good commonsense rules. So long as you do that, you’ll be fine. And welcome to FR. Always happy to see another good conservative join us, especially one who is reasonable and polite — and has more thoughtful fare to offer us in our conversations here rather than just Twitter style insults.
Too many purges by management over the years. For a long time group think was mandatory here. It's much better now but the damage was done and many really good posters have gone and they are not coming back.
Yes, many of the old Balkans gang went during the Ron Paul purge around 2011-2012. They knew he would not win the primary, but liked some of the things he had to say, especially re our adventures abroad such as the bombing of Serbia, and thought it was good he was running so his voice could be heard. Some more left in solidarity with them. I’m aware of other purges, too.
Over the past year, I’ve seen some very good, old time Freepers say on a thread or on their home pages that they were leaving or left because of all the conspiracy pushers and nastiness. More than I’d like to see. Very sad, but I do understand. The same group who drove them off FR are the ones pushing newer Freepers to leave. Some are super zot happy. They even actually spend time compiling a commie style List and brag they’re going to take over FR. smh
