I forgot about the triffids. I think that I was about 13 with a very vivid imagination, and the story scared me stiff!

I think they even made a movie about them, to which you couldn't drag me.

There aren't going to be any triffids, right?

Yes there was a movie made about triffids but I see that as a remote possibility. More likely Artificial Intelligence will nuke the Earth first. 😁
