The US FDA and CDC have co-operated to issue emergency use authorisations and rollout new, bivalent Pfizer and Moderna Covid vaccines this week, without any human trials, which is unprecedented.
These vaccines continue to enjoy extraordinary protection from liability, while the recipient has no access to the legal system in the case of injury.
There is no evidence that the new vaccines are safe, while there is limited evidence that they may be more harmful than earlier Covid vaccines – but in the absence of human testing, there is no way to truly predict their safety. Safety data are being concealed by federal health agencies. Messaging by them is misleading.
There is no evidence the new bivalent vaccines will be more effective than the older vaccines, and existing evidence suggests that any efficacy they provide will persist no longer than one to several months.
Covid vaccines appear to increase susceptibility to Covid infections, on average starting six months after inoculation.

So far I have. She hasn’t taken any more boosters nor will she and I negotiated for initial injection and I will take the shingles shots due to never having chicken pox. No boosters.
Oh, and that we never have this discussion again.

She is a liberal, I am a conservative. That’s enough irreconcilable differences. Today is our 33rd wedding anniversary. We have done it all, seen it all and argued about it all. After she found me unconscious on the floor of the bathroom from the long haul effects of COVID and a severe panic attack that set in, we both agreed that we will regain our spiritual, emotional and physical fitness. Eat right, exercise, strengthen our bond with the lord and receive some counseling on our individual emotional state.
It worked. What I did was part of the MAD strategy. I inserted a poison pill into the madness around the COVID nightmare and ensured we would never have the conversation again.
If you never have chicken pox, you can't get shingles, since shingles is the reactivation of the dormant herpes virus that caused the original chicken pox. It is possible to get chicken pox as an adult, after which you could get shingles. If I had never had chicken pox, my own inclination would be not to take the shingles vaccine.
But then I'm not planning to take the shingles vaccine even though I did have chicken pox as a child. I'll take my chances, and probably will regret that choice if I do get shingles. My wife had that experience years ago, and it was not fun.
Apparently people with a death wish. My brother in law and sister in law both got the previous round: she passed out. They got the new round yesterday and she passed out getting into the bathtub today (a concussion and 18 stitches).

Unfortunately my parents couldn’t tell me if I had chicken pox as a child nor could I remember. I watched my father spend his last days lying in a bed in a nursing home having to deal with shingles. I cannot imagine a worse death.
Sorry about your father. That sounds horrible.
I don’t know if there’s any sort of immunologic test to find out whether you had chicken pox as a child. If not, for you it may well be the better choice to get the shingles vaccine.
Sadly some people cannot be saved from themselves. My niece lives in Toronto. I don’t even ask.

The original injections have been way too weak in their purpose of population reduction so now comes the New Improved clot shot.
I never had chicken pox, measles, or mumps.
Many years ago, a doctor tested me and said I was immune to all of them.
Meanwhile, at the family practice I go to a doctor I never met phoned in a shingles vaccine for me to take at the local WalMart pharmacy here in Maine where I purchase my meds.
WalMart told me over the phone it was going to cost $200.00.
I told them I didn’t want it and to cancel the order.
