Department argues documents should not be handed to third party due to national security concerns

The US Department of Justice on Thursday said it was appealing a federal judge's decision regarding the ongoing investigation into classified documents found at former President Donald Trump's Florida home.

The agency asked Judge Aileen Cannon for a stay on some parts of her order, issued on Monday, which allowed for a special master to be assigned to the case and froze the US government's review of classified documents.

The notice of appeal filing asks Ms. Cannon to allow the continued use of documents marked classified that were discovered during an FBI search...

Even a billionaire with an army of skilled lawyers cannot outdo a justice department if it is out to get someone.
(In my opinion, of course.)

So, what does the DOJ (euphemistically called the “Justice” Department”) have to hide?

Why are they afraid of allowing a neutral third party review their work?

We all know why, don’t we?

The Justice Department has already gave them to a third party, The Washington Post.

Hey! Don’t you know that the DOJ is appealing because IT’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL to hold the DOJ and the FBI to the restrictions spelled out in the Constitution?

/not really sarcasm, is it.

It's pretty clear they wanted to indict Trump before the election. This ruling wouldn't necessarily delay things long enough to prevent the indictment, but it might, which is why the Marxists at the DOJ are leaving nothing to chance.

They are stalling for time because they were supposed to have a list of names to Cannon by today. They are threatening her to file with the 11th Circuit.

The DOJ is selectively leaking (e.g., the SECRET/TS SCI photo) to promote its case against Trump, what happened to “cannot comment on an ongoing investigation?

Note that these type leaks are not coming from the Dunham black hole or the Hunter laptop non-investigation.

So the DOJ is proving itself partisan and therefore oversight is required.

Survey finds substantial majority of Americans favor Biden impeachment, including nearly 80% of Republicans and majority of independents

A poll released this week found that it is not just Republicans who overwhelmingly want to see Joe Biden impeached, Democratic and independent voters are not too thrilled with the president’s performance.

The Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey found that over half (52 Percent) of voters favor the impeachment of Biden.

While 77 percent of Republican voters want to see the president gone, over a third of Democratic voters (32 percent) and half of independents also wish for Biden to be thrown out of office...

Solution: Appoint JOHN RATLIFF as Special Master. He was formerly the Director of National Intelligence, has the requisite knowledge and security clearances to view the material, and likely has seen the documents before.

The DoJ’s concern is obviously not for National Security. It is for protecting their own National Security Division.

The USA can either have a free society with Constitutional rights, or we can have the DoJ/FBI National Security Divisions created by the Patriot Act. We need to extirpate this cancer now. If these groups do anything vital (in the few moments a day not devoted to interference in domestic politics), then we need to come up with replacements that are compatible with the Constitution and a free society.

BS argument that the FIB and inJustice Dept. alone can decide the validity of their own review of the seized documents.

They're gonn'a go ahead an' screw it up to reveal there are NO classified documents and they really DID go in there to sniff both Melania's and Baron's underwear.

They're all pedo/rapist freaks and should be imprisoned.
