Chokwe Antar Lumumba, Democratic mayor of Jackson, Mississippi, promised to make the capital “the most radical city on the planet” during his 2017 campaign, but so far he’s been unable to even solve even the city’s basic infrastructure problems and the city’s running water is now unsafe to drink.
He campaigned on plans to introduce universal basic income and alternatives to policing, to replace vacant lots with urban farms and to resolve chronic issues with the city’s water and roads in order to break the “cycles of humiliation” he said black residents experience in Jackson, the most heavily black large city in the U.S. Instead, the city’s water problems have worsened, and Republican Gov. Tate Reeves declared a state of emergency Tuesday because running water is not reliably available nor safe for consumption.

The city-run O.B. Curtis Water Plant has been plagued with issues for years and has issued numerous boil water notices, but recent flooding impeded its ability to offer reliable running water to 180,000 Jackson residents. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) will be distributing water from tanker trucks at various points throughout the city, Lumumba told CNN.
“I wouldn’t call us the most radical city to date,” Lumumba told Politico in 2021 amid a separate city water crisis.
Lumumba did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
Electricity............................😁
In Flint, Michigan, they were able to blame the city’s problem on the Republican governor. That’s why they have Governor Gretchen Whitmer today.
Maybe they can do that in Jackson, MS.
Someone needs to do an audit.
> Marxism fails where ever and whenever it’s implemented. <
Correct. But the rallying cry of every Marxist is, “This time it will be different.”
In a way, it’s like some mental defective with one six-sided die, trying to roll a 7. He rolls over and over again. Never a 7. But he keeps on trying. Because this time it will be different.
His father was born Edwin Finley Taliaferro, changed it to Chokwe Lumumba after joining the Republic of New Afrika. They are a black separatist movement that wants its own country in the SE US.
No.
Maybe Seattle well be next..
Entire cities fail due to corruption and mismanagement but innocent people are expected to pay for it.
This isn't just mentally ill people taking over streets, it's drinking water; something the Romans figured out centuries ago.
So he planned to get his constituents back to chop’n rows in the fields?
Not on the Mississippi River. Pearl River...............
An all-black society based on the tenets of Booker T. Washington would be self-governing within one generation. All it would take is removing every single socialist Marxist UHURU BLM Maulana-Karengite and ending all government aid. It would be hell for a while, but it could be done; it won't be done because non-self-respecting people can be bought cheaply by mountebanks and grifters, regardless of race.
The whole family are Patrice Lumumba wannebes!
The father:

Born in Detroit, Michigan, as Edwin Finley Taliaferro, and was raised there. He changed his name in 1969 after joining the Republic of New Afrika.

You’re going to be drinking recycled humiliation now for your crazy ideas.
Now they can rediscover their roots and culture back to Africa and live like their native tribal brothers. It puts the African in African American communities.
The mayor will probably receive an award
This from search...Deion Sanders coaches at the HBC, JSU...
...if it's a Republican
Signed,
MSM
They will blame the Republican Governor for the problem in the first place.
Give Him him a break, he created the most majestic fountains of crony graft that money can buy
Isn’t this like the Birmingham, Ala sewage treatment scandal from a decade ago....so much corruption built into it, and no one dared to admit that?
will be distributing water from tanker trucks
= = =
Electrick trucks, right?
