Donald Trump – Ron DeSantis 2024: Is It Possible?

Is A Trump-DeSantis Ticket Possible At This Point: Popular Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been rumored to be considering a 2024 presidential run for some time now, but with the genuine possibility of a third Trump campaign lingering, it’s unclear whether DeSantis is taking the idea seriously?

DeSantis is second only to Trump when it comes to smear campaigns from Democrats and the press, making the two men seem like a perfect coupling for some.

With the January 6 investigation still ongoing and the recent FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago, however, the Florida governor has a lot to think about over the coming year or so until primary campaigning really kicks off.

"Donald Trump – Ron DeSantis 2024: Is It Possible?"

No... It'll be the one world commies, by hook or crook, same as last time.. We didn't do anything about what happened during the last election, why should we expect it be any different in the next.?

Never let a sucker keep his [country].

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

I want to see how this plays out after Trump is convicted of insurrection in some DC kangaroo court. It’s the only play the regime now has to try to keep Trump out of the election.

DeSantis needs to stay in Florida doing what he is doing, thwarting the left. In DC , he’s sidelined. The left would love that.

What is much more imminent and urgent is getting a dynamic Speaker of the House following the November takeover of the House. The same is true for the Senate. Look at the last two years and then contemplate going through another two years of this wrecking ball. Bannon has already come out saying that he doesn’t know whether we can come back from the current state of destruction.

It’s clear from early posts that we’re all of one mind. /s

Author scores with the main point, however, that DeSantis would prefer a clean shot at it without all the controversy surely to come with DjT’s 2nd term.

And you would immediately hear “2 white men”

Yes, its distinctly possible.

I’d love for my native Florida to get 4 more years of Heavy D but...he is the obvious heir apparent to the MAGA agenda and voter base. I still need to see that he’s not a deep state warmonger on foreign policy but on domestic policy, he’s been great.

Its really not a problem. Bush and Cheney were both Texas residents in 2000. It didn’t stop them.

People...the Democrats are running ads here in Florida against DeSantis saying he is more interested in becoming President than Florida Governor. The media is pushing this narrative and the Dems are running on it. We need DeSantis as Governor not VP or President right now so I wish folks would stop pushing this issue! If Ron DeSantis leaves Florida, we get Charlie Crist and he has already promised to undo everything DeSantis has done for Florida, from back to mask wearing and vaccine mandates to teaching genderism to little kids in school.

“we’ll march patriotically and peacefully to let our voices be heard”

-—pretty much neuters that line of attack, although they’ll try. Such a verdict from a DC court would not stand on appeals.

Trump isn’t going to chose DeSantis as V.P. If he decides to run
Why? Because DeSantis will decline and that will embarrass Trump.

DeSantis doesn’t need Trump.
He’s a powerful Presidential Candidate all on his own.

I don’t assume Trump is really going to run again.
I think he’s just playing with the media and getting his endorsements elected.

Since they are both FL residents Trump would have to move out of Florida or forfeit FL’s electoral votes per the 12A though.

I do not believe Trump will run.

Trump is running but I believe that the FBI may arrest him and put him in jail before 2024.

DeSantis could easily move to Pascagoula since it is pretty close to Tallahassee.

RE: POTUS/VP candidates must not reside in one state...

Another political myth just as calling the U.S. a democracy and not a republic.

Personally, I don’t want that ticket. Trump’s running mate should not be a mini me Trump like DeSantis. It should be a Trumper that will appeal to voters who might be on the fence.

When Trump resumes his second term..he should meet with Governor Desantis once in awhile..and vise versa.
