At some point one would think that the police would stop returning to the same address and swatting the same innocent person for the third time.

They probably called it in. The National Security State could certainly determine who was doing this ... if they wanted to.

I was going to say - how dumb is local SWAT to keep falling for the hoax? Unless their bosses are in on it…

You would think. Either the cops are boneheads, or they are playing along because they like it.

You’d be naive to think that they probably aren’t.

This is life under Democrats if you stand by the Constitution.

If someone sent a death threat to the Federal Judge who signed the Trump warrant, or called in a bomb threat to an airliner... they would be arrested within a few hours, VPN or not.

They aren’t dumb. And by her accounts they were very professional. But an actual attack on her could be preceded by a few false alarms. Say they quit responding to her address and it was real that time.
They should always respond, but the bad guy should be located easily by the NSA.

“At some point one would think that the police would stop returning to the same address and swatting the same innocent person for the third time.”

The reality of working in law enforcement is that you dismiss an emergency call at your own peril.

Regardless of how absurd, questionable or repetitious a call may be, if something horrific occurs and you didn’t respond, your ass is grass.

And that’s just the way it is.

Exactly, just as they could have exposed all of the foreign interference in the 2020 Big Steal, but chose not to do so.

Good point.

I will qualify my derisive post #13.

“One would think that the police would stop returning to the same address.” True. A friend of a friend had an ex-wife call the SWAT team her ex-husband three times. First time was very stressful for the ex-husband. The second and third times the police smiled and waved to the ex-husband. Some officers understand vendetta-type SWAT calls.

It’s not that it’s just their ass. It is that they don’t want her murdered or attacked. If someone wanted to attack her, it would be kinda nice to put out some false alarms.

They should not stop responding, but the NSA and CIA have the technical ability to find the terrorist. And they have the legal ability to pursue a terrorist attack.

The bad thing is not that cops take each call seriously, it is that our government does not want to stop the attacks.

>>>>how dumb is…

After the first occurrence, local 911 dispatch should have set up a code word call back response for any emergency from that number to verify the resident of that home.
