There are consequences for believing lies, there actually are. I have told many people that masking children’s mouths would cause language problems. Masking adults mouths will also cause horrific problems to children trying to learn language as they watch adults mouths while learning.

“I wish that [Biden] would go further to restrict the activities of the unvaccinated because they are the ones who are still spreading COVID and prolonging the pandemic for all of us.” she said in a December.

Yes, and we’re not going to forget that either, power-tripper.

When I’ve been treated as sub-human by these people for the past 2 years, it’s burned out any sympathy I might have had for them. I now despise them.

"...negatively affect their child[...] and hinder my and my husband’s abilit[ies]..."

So now that it affects her, she's against them. She was OK when it just affected everyone else.

These ‘experts’ were 100% wrong on everything, yet they were so damned certain and defiant. Full of their exalted opinions of themselves, their decisions could not be questioned. Who wants a society like that? Not me.

We had some “doctors” like her on FR?

I know there are at least a couple of vaxx fans still yapping on here. They’re not doctors, just sheep, or maybe Pharma salespeople or something.

They claim to have never been for a mandate but they ridiculed and taunted the GMO-free relentlessly.

One of them even uses gaslighting techniques, posting frequently that “Covid is over,” but finding ways to sneak his precious vaxx into conversations and turning it on people.

I see people call him on his egregious behavior regularly, but he appears to be blind to it. Classic narcissist trait.

Wen is a wen on society.

Frankly, all these new reports of “mea culpas” by the vaxx influencers is setting up the final, “oh, now you can go back to normal, our policies are no longer operative.” 3 months before the election. Just enough time for “illiterati” with short term memories to vote Democrat again.

Question: Why is a Chinese National (born in Beijing) in charge of anything in the USA? She was born and raised in a communist nation (as was Vindman)?

Da fuq is our government appointing obvious traitors and sle per agents into positions of authority?

Xlnt. If they have such bad ability to discern right from wrong, most likely they are going to make poor judgement.
I don’t think Wen Is a practicing physician. She probably was below average but wanted to play God. Big Fail on her side.

From her Op-Ed:
"... But the high transmissibility of new variants meant that we would have to pay an increasingly high price if our goal was to keep avoiding the virus. I began trying to think of the coronavirus as I do other everyday risks, such as falls, car accidents or drowning. Of course I want to shield my children from injuries, and I take precautions, such as using car seats and teaching them how to swim. By the same logic, I vaccinated them against the coronavirus. But I won’t put their childhood on hold in an effort to eliminate all risk...

This fills me with a great deal of anger.

We had a handle on what this virus was in mid-March of 2020...I have been saying since then that the biggest mistake was making this a political issue (which of course it was, for political reasons, driven entirely by the Left in order to impact the elections) instead of subjecting this to a real and in-depth Risk-Benefit analysis.

I do partially fault Trump for a minor degree in this, but even in his case I give him a break because he was a political neophyte trying to navigate uncharted waters, and I think he was given bad advice, not a new revelation. It is clear that he opposed vaccine mandates and lockdowns, but I have no doubt he was pressured internally to go along with it, and he did. That part is to his discredit, but it pales in comparison to the other parties, IMO.

The closest we got to a real Risk-Benefit analysis was with Scott Atlas, but even he was rolled under by the political wave being created by the Left.

This physician, who was ready to throw us into gulags to make us conform and wear masks, finally, after several years and the damage done, is doing her OWN Risk-Benefit Analysis, which if the GOVERNMENT was not going to perform, should have been left to EACH INDIVIDUAL TO PERFORM.

It just makes me madder than hell.

Someone said that Trump the businessman has experience battling sharks, but in government you're battling demons.

We need to be honest. Trump was a great President, helped make America great again, stopped Hillary, and lots of other magnificent things.

But seriously, Trump's Achilles is his personnel instincts. They're a virtual dumpster fire. Sessions, the Mooch, Bolton, Tillersn, Mattis, Giuliani, McCabe, Nikki Haley, Sally Yates, Flynn, Hope Hicks, Reince Priebus, Rod Rosenstein. Oh, and Pence...and endorsing McCarthy. And PA and Alabama primary nonsense.

And this is not an inconsequential Achilles. Indeed, picking Rudy to lead the stolen election charge was a disaster. He may have been America's Mayor but he was out of his league when arguing cases. In fact he was by many accounts hung over and that's why his hair dye was trickling down his face. Maybe that deck was stacked against him, but we didn't need Quint, we needed a Latin-Chanting Priest with a Crucifix and maybe a stake and mallet.

Ignoring a problem won't make it go away, and this is a big problem. Re-electing Trump is tough enough, but I don't want to spend four years crossing my fingers on him selecting competent exorcists to administer MAGA.

I will disagree with you on this.

Trump has shown me that from a perspective of steering this ship of state in the right direction, he can marshal the resources to do it. I fully expected him to make a lot of mistakes and even with those, he managed to steer things.

If not for these attacks on our country, externally by the ChiComs with their engineered virus, and internally by the Left and people in his own party with the Russia-Gate crap, there is no telling how things might have been even better.

Nobody else has shown me that at the Federal level, and that includes DeSantis.
