We need to be honest. Trump was a great President, helped make America great again, stopped Hillary, and lots of other magnificent things.
But seriously, Trump's Achilles is his personnel instincts. They're a virtual dumpster fire. Sessions, the Mooch, Bolton, Tillersn, Mattis, Giuliani, McCabe, Nikki Haley, Sally Yates, Flynn, Hope Hicks, Reince Priebus, Rod Rosenstein. Oh, and Pence...and endorsing McCarthy. And PA and Alabama primary nonsense.
And this is not an inconsequential Achilles. Indeed, picking Rudy to lead the stolen election charge was a disaster. He may have been America's Mayor but he was out of his league when arguing cases. In fact he was by many accounts hung over and that's why his hair dye was trickling down his face. Maybe that deck was stacked against him, but we didn't need Quint, we needed a Latin-Chanting Priest with a Crucifix and maybe a stake and mallet.
Ignoring a problem won't make it go away, and this is a big problem. Re-electing Trump is tough enough, but I don't want to spend four years crossing my fingers on him selecting competent exorcists to administer MAGA.
I will disagree with you on this.
Trump has shown me that from a perspective of steering this ship of state in the right direction, he can marshal the resources to do it. I fully expected him to make a lot of mistakes and even with those, he managed to steer things.
If not for these attacks on our country, externally by the ChiComs with their engineered virus, and internally by the Left and people in his own party with the Russia-Gate crap, there is no telling how things might have been even better.
Nobody else has shown me that at the Federal level, and that includes DeSantis.
And by the way-just because I disagree with you on this doesn’t mean you are wrong in your assessment.
I just weight things differently is all.
