The IRS Already Spent Over $20 Million On Military Equipment And Ammo.
National Pulse ^ | AUGUST 17, 2022 | Natalie Winters

The Internal Revenue Service has spent tens of millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars purchasing guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment.

Reports of the agency’s massive spend on weapons and combat equipment appear to be at odds with its stated purpose of “providing America’s taxpayers top quality service by helping them understand and meet their tax responsibilities.” It also resurfaces as President Joe Biden deploying 87,000 new Internal Revenue Service (IRS) agents to audit Americans.

Prior to the minting of President Biden’s nearly 100,000 new IRS agents, the agency already had a sizable budget, of which tens of millions of dollars had been spent on purchasing military-oriented gear.

Between the fiscal years 2006 and 2019, the agency spent $21.3 million on guns, ammunition and military-style equipment, using the funds to stockpile 4,500 guns and five million rounds of ammunition.

The government watchdog group Open The Books conducted a case study itemizing the items purchased by the IRS between fiscal years 2015 and 2019.

Of a total of $8.7 million spent, $4.5 million was directed towards guns and ammunition while $4.2 million was designated for combat equipment.

...

“As of January 1, 2019, the IRS owned 4,600 guns and stockpiled 5 million rounds of ammunition. This included 621 shotguns, 539 long-barrel rifles, [and] 15 submachine guns,” explains Open The Books in its report, “The Militarization of The U.S. Executive Agencies.”

The weapons and ammunition are believed to be used by the agency’s roughly 2,200 Special Agents, who are “investigative forensic accountants utilizing specialized technology to uncover sophisticated schemes to defraud the government, as well as assist in counterterrorism and anti-narcotics efforts,” noted Open The Books.

...

In addition to handguns, items such as long guns, shotgun ammunition, night vision scopes, ballistic shields, and several forms of body armor were also purchased by the IRS with its taxpayer-provided millions.

It remains unclear whether or not President Biden’s boost to the IRS budget mole results in the agency gaining more military style equipment or weapons.

Let’s be clear: the IRS buys weapons of war designed to kill as many people as quickly as possible.

Now how could Americans be so compliant and naive as to believe there is a sensible and normal justification for the IRS to start firing those weapons in America?

“Uh, I’m nervous today. I’ve never been audited. I have those receipts somewhere in this folder. Please. I’m shaking.”
“I told you NOW!”

A civilian national security force that is just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded as the military

Millions of new illegals just this year. They ain’t coming to the US to see the sights.

They are coming here to work, and will have US bosses who will think they can cheap out an pay them without reporting the wages (off the books) and not pay SS tax either.

That is who these goons will attack, Americans running businesses just trying to get by.

We will need more agents. California is scheduled to get 10% of these new armed agents, 8,700.

So we will need at least 1300 more armed thugs for our side for parity!

Did I mention they cartel is heavily armed, as in heavy weapons? Need at least 1 or 2 mechanized brigades to clean them out, not a bunch of guys armed with pea shooters.

I remember a story where a ruler used the military to collected taxes from the people. A fellow acting as ruler demanded all pay and pay. Those who didn’t were beaten and branded. A hero came forth from the ruling class, someone who heard the cries of the suffering people. His name was Robin Hood. He kept the nation together in revolt until the rightful king, Richard lionheart, returned. Where is our Robin Hood now?

I wonder which main battle tank they are going to settle for. The M1A2 Abrams, the new Russki T-14 or the German KF51 Panther.

I don’t think this has to do with audits. This is Barry’s civilian army he dreams about.

They want guns to evict you from your homes and put you and the family in the gutter. Then move in some members of the Rat party's south of the border army. The south of the border "enforcers" will ne be their new "street army".

"Here. look at this photo of this family, and here is their address. Make them disapear".

There’s something about this that doesn’t add up.

IRS-CI Special Agents are the only employees within the IRS authorized to carry and use firearms. The authority to carry and use firearms is derived from United States Code Title 26, Section 7608, wherein criminal investigators of the IRS are authorized to make arrests under Federal law. Special agents are trained in the use of and currently issued Glock handguns, specifically Glock 19M and 26 self-loading pistols. Remington 870 shotguns and Smith and Wesson MP&15 rifles are also officially issued and deployed. Special agents assigned to undercover activities may carry and use virtually any common firearm.

IRS-CI Special Agents are trained to execute arrest and search warrants and conduct authorized undercover operations, including technical surveillance. Consistent with the safe conduct of such operations, special agents are trained in building-entry and non-lethal defensive tactics training, in harmony with current Federal law enforcement use-of-force training. Special agents also serve as dignitary protection staff and in air marshal roles.

IRS-CI operates 21 field offices in the United States located in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York, Oakland, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Seattle, St. Louis, Tampa and Washington D.C. (IRS-CI headquarters). Many of these offices are further subdivided into smaller resident agencies which have jurisdiction over a specific area. These resident agencies are considered to be part of the primary field offices. IRS-CI headquarters, located in Washington, D.C., controls the flow of the agents and support staff that work out of the field offices across the country. The agency has around 3300 CI employees and a annual budget of $1.2 billion.

Biden may be increasing the number of bean counters to audit, which he can do even if this number is an overkill. And it is a direct opportunity to take a highly misunderstood tax system and make it profitable for slush funds. But there is no justification for the purchase of weapons nor a budget to handle the costs with the cash coming on the heals of the inflation reduction act. And when you consider the IRS-CI numbers less than 3500 people, and is the investigation for the IRS that is the enforcement of the criminals they need to go after, then it won’t be IRS people, if they hire, it will be a private army.

They probably think that nothing will happen to them because we will comply with their demands just like we as society complied during the COVID obedience experiment . Why should they think otherwise ? SUre there are 400 million guns or do in the hands of patriotic Americans but How many of those gun owners will have the resolve to use them when your door is kicked in at 3AM during a RAID or after your neighbors door gets kicked in?
