The Far Left Will Regret Siccing the FBI on Trump
The National Interest ^ | 08/09/2022 | Christian Whiton

Posted on 08/09/2022 9:34:42 PM PDT by Kevin in California

Whatever excuse the Justice Department and FBI have for raiding the home of former President Donald Trump, there can be no doubt about the ultimate implication. The Far Left, which sprung to life in opposition to the Trump administration, is determined to use the power of government to remove those who challenge its power.

Were the FBI agents looking for mishandled classified documents taken from the White House? That would be a laugh. As president, Trump could have declassified anything he wanted and needn’t have told anyone since he was the chief executive of the executive branch and commander in chief of the military and, by extension, the national security establishment that can classify information. It is literally impossible for a president to mishandle classified information since the ability to classify it and manage its handling is vested in him. The Justice Department and FBI should know that unless they were sick the day they taught law at law school.

Did Hannity really say that?

“cheat on every election”

As Bannon says, “They can’t win if they don’t cheat.”

Gene, I'm not following your numbers on the Kansas senate primary last week. You said:

Last week in Kansas, 64% of the voters chose their Democrat Senate hopeful. 36% for the Republican.

Here is the vote count I gathered from KWCH.com:

Approximately 260K people voted in the Dem senate primary. Mark Holland won with 38% of the vote.

Approximately 468K people voted in the Rep senate primary. Jerry Moran won with 81% of the vote.

I do not see how this data squares with the numbers you provided.

From what I have read, some of the records the FBI were looking for pertained to the FBI’s role in Russiagate, records that were just subpoenaed by Judicial Watch last week. I think it’s plausible that the FBI wants to know what records Trump has so that they can release the bare minimum number (if they don’t know what he has, they run the danger of not releasing records that are known to exist) and tailor their narrative based on just those documents. So this may be a “protect us” as much as it is a “get Trump!”

Socialists get their final grooming in Marxist indoctrination at colleges - the rest of the country just gets the public school system K-12 and the MSM. Socialists cannot say NO, “don’t Ja Knoo” and socialists are pre-programmed to do exactly what the FBI is doing.

Everyone with a college degree (that’s 99.9) at the FBI should be hauled before a merit review board conducted on CSPAN before being retired from the agency or punished.

I’ve been to Judicial Watch and sat with them for hours. The first thing that becomes apparent is that “everything is negotiated”. I went to them about reporting some illegal server at the State Department only to be told they could only “officially” work on that server from 2015 forward. By 2015? The worst part is that they told me that “had it all” going back before Obama’s presidency and they could not do anything because they negotiated what they could work on. Nothing is beyond Government corruption - JW is no more than another Official Government Sanctioned Gatekeeper.

Rethinking this raid. This nay be calculated to neuter the FBI and DOJ by both tarnishing their trust by the people, and TO ENSURE THEY CANNOT BE USED AGAINST DEMOCRATS after the midterms.

How can the Republicans in congress investigate Biden without a federal law enforcement arm.

The DNC has destroyed city and local level police by both slander and defunding.

The DNC is now rendering the FBI useless to prosecute them in return.

Yes, he did, on his show on FOX last night.

Hannity said that he now believes that only 95% are good.

Unbelievable.

And to make matters worse, I saw Dick Cheney doing a political commercial on FOX for his miserable daughter’s re-election bid, which won’t happen.

Cheney called President Trump a “coward” and said he lost the election, blah blah blah.

A nationwide ad buy for Lizard Cheney. I live in Maine so I’m not voting in the Wyoming primary next week.

Dick Cheney looked very ill. He should be praying instead of demeaning one of the best president’s in American history.

Commie trash like those in DC never regret. They forget, cover up, and bury. But, never regret as all they ever care about is personal power. The end justifies the means.

That is why after Edgar Hoover congress restricted the term of FBI director to no more than 10 years, because the possibility of accumulating too much power and the ability to blackmail.

The FBI director is not elected to a ten year term, he is elected to a 1 day term, renewable at the discretion of the president, up to a maximum of 10 years.

In the movie J. Edgar starring Leonardo Decaprio there was a scene of the news that Hoover had died causing his long time secretary to rush to destroy the secret files. I thought they could have shown top politicians breathing a sigh of relief.

The opposite of a high school principal at an assembly saying “You will see large numbers of law enforcement here today. There is a major drug sweep here after several tragic overdose deaths. None of you has to worry. Only the guilty need worry. (Followed by mass panic and rushing to lockers.)

With so much secret information today I wonder which politicians and maybe even SCOTUS justices (Rumors about Roberts) are worried.

Please don’t think I am in favor of threats to anyone, either. We can do things without threats like that.

These were the reported totals on the 4th.

“There are vote totals for each of the selected candidates. 143K R votes were cast. 254k D votes were cast. That’s a total of 397k votes. So of that total, 64% were Dems (254/397)”

https://freerepublic.com/focus/news/4082842/posts?page=239#239

I suppose my source was no good —by the 5th (the following day), the R votes increased by more than 300k while the D votes only by 6k.

Agreed, my numbers don’t square.

Numbers from that night:

Would you expect a ballot measure to have a significantly higher vote count than the combined count for a US Senate seat — by let’s say 25% ?

Gene, thanks for getting back with me.

You said Would you expect a ballot measure to have a significantly higher vote count than the combined count for a US Senate seat — by let’s say 25% ?

Normally, one would not expect to see that type of stat.

Unfortunately, the Dems got alot of "unaffiliated" voters to the polls to vote NO. Normally, one would not expect to see many unaffiliated voters show up on primary day, since they cannot vote on either Rep or Dem candidates. But the pro-aborts were fired up like a bunch of angry hornets and swarmed the polls in far greater number than anyone anticipated.

I hope they don't show up in Nov to re-elect pro-abort extremist Laura Kelly for governor.

Appreciate the previous vote corrections and the “unaffiliated” details.

>> But the pro-aborts were fired up like a bunch of angry hornets and swarmed the polls in far greater number than anyone anticipated.

No doubt.

Well, here’s another reassuring perspective. If the ballot measure vote count matched the US Senate vote count, and the likely “unaffiliated” 194k votes were removed, the amendment would have passed with 52%.
