However, I'll point out that Mike Lee, being on the Judiciary Committee and all, is in a better position to know if there was a warrant than either you or I. Perhaps more to the point, not even in Trump's statement does he claim there was no warrant.

Government in the sunshine requires that such things are made public if they exist. When documents like a warrant can't be produced for public inspection, it is reasonable to infer either that it doesn't exist, or if it does, that it is legally flawed.
