Kari Lake surged into the lead in Arizona thanks to late-night ballot dumps

I went to bed early, before the returns from Arizona began streaming in, then woke up this morning and began scrolling my Twitter feed in chronological order. My eyes popped when I saw this:

Robson by eight?! With three-quarters of the state reporting? Sweet fancy Moses. The polls had Kari Lake winning by double digits! Even the very best recent poll for Robson had her ahead by just one point.

Allahpundit tries to be cute. But of course he is wrong. There was no vote dump during the night. I followed the count and ever since the first mail-in votes had been counted giving Robson a large lead, Lake was gradually getting closer and closer. To compare this with what happened in PA 2020 is just stupid. (Par for the course for Hotair!)

Still not wild on the idea of late night ballot dumps, but in this case turnabout it fair play I guess.

Lake is up by 12,000 down only a half a point in Maricopa county. She owns every other county in the state. If we truly are 82% in Maricopa Lake is still the new republican running for the governor ship of Arizona. No change and Katie Hobbs is still the most incompetent person in Arizona. And Kelli Ward the Republican chairperson is in Chicago. AWOL

Well your going to get another surprise soon the big Steal,they announced from Arizona at 7 last night,they counted,are you sitting down? All day yesterday 5000,votes! They said they are still counting mail in votes! I thought all those had already been counted? Those were the ones that gave the democrat a 10 point lead, so dont worry they said tune in tonight the 4th at 7 pm for another update!
Did you know in the election in France they counted 32 million votes in few hours and announced the winner,here we are two days after a PRIMARY and they only counted 5k votes in a day,and told you to come back at 7 tonight for an update!!? Can you smell the steal coming!

I was wondering about that. Kelli is giving a lot of interviews not in AZ. I thought she and a contingent would be on site in Maricopa raising holy hell, but she’s not.

If they are not done counting yet they are going to steal it from Lake. There is absolutely no other reason to not be done counting. Why can’t they catch these people. Oh because the gov and SOS are in on it.

This wasn't a case of late night ballot dumps. It was a case of the fraud-ridden early voting / drop box ballots being counted first. What you saw later in the night was the election day ballots being tabulated as normal. This was when Kari Lake started catching up.

Remember also that Arizona is three hours behind the East Coast so if you are on the East Coast things seemed like they were happening "late at night."

Maricopa county is where the funny business is going on. They stopped counting after 80% of the vote was in. They announced they would report the rest of the votes by 7PM yesterday but then stated they would need another day of "counting" and so will report 7PM tonight. No doubt they are scurrying to "find" enough Robson votes to overturn the state results.

I don't think they will succeed because too many eyes are on them so they are in full panic mode. They know that if Kari Lake prevails, it is all over for them and many of them are likely headed for jail. So the stakes are high and if they can find a way to finagle a steal, they will.
