Krugman is allowed to go forth and say stupid stuff at this time, because he recently wiped his slate clean by admitting that he said stupid stuff in the past. Having admitted his past transgressions, he can now start fresh.

And in October we’ll be told three quarters doesn’t count either.

Just as they changed the definition of vaccine when the facts went against them they want to change the definition of recession for the same reason. This is Soviet style gaslighting.

If this had happened while Trump was in office, the media would be screaming about the Great Recession 2.0. They would already have a name for it, and would be having special reports, while Congress would hold select committee hearings. And Pelosi would probably try to impeach Trump again, just for being president during a recession. The double standard here is glaring.

Krugman is off his meds more than he is on them.

Some people think Paul Krugman is an actual economist. He even got a Nobel Prize.
I can't think of anyone who has been as consistently wrong. He isn't only wrong, but wrong as wrong can be.

AGAIN, the liberals changing the lexicon.
Weather becomes Global Warming/Climate Change
Jungle becomes Rain Forest
Women become men and men become women, hence rags and plugs in the men’s room.
The definition of “vaccine” is changed to allow the deadly/useless COVID vaxxines to be approved for “emergency use”.
And many more...
NOW, because a recession is immanent, they are changing the definition of “recession”. There is NO recession, we just whisked it away with a word/definition change.
The question is... Are we going to let them get away with ANOTHER one.
Probably.

If Krugman says we’re not in a recession, you better believe we are.

I've been told that Krugman is an acknowledged expert (in academia) on the economics of international trade. That's what he got the Nobel Econ Prize for. The person who that told me this (Note: This person claimed to me to be a professional economist!) also said that Krugman is a hard-core leftist ideologue on everything else. (No kidding!) So, you would think at some point his econ training and his leftist world view would be at odds. I guess not, after all the Soviet Union had economists too .

I agree with Biden, we’re in a transition period.
We’re skipping over the whole recession thing and headed straight for a depression under this ass.

Biden's Brain is gone, and you can't Find anyone willing to talk about the 25th amendment now They realize that even though Biden and Democrats have created a colossal mess of everything, Kamal Harris is even less lucid.
