Trump and DeSantis Have Made A Secret Agreement to Share the Ticket in 2024
Banned Video ^ | 07/20/22 | Robert Barnes

Posted on 07/22/2022 4:24:54 AM PDT by Enlightened1

Attorney Robert Barnes is saying President Trump and Governor DeSeantis have an agreement. President Trump will focus on international issues while DeSantis can focus on domestic issues. To sum it up DeSantis is insurance for President Trump against any federal indictments because Leftists fear them both.  Per Robert Barnes this will be announced later. He did not say when.

It would be a great ticket. It’s not like Trump has a deep bench of Republicans to choose from. For me, it comes down to DiSantis or Paul. Maybe Hawley or Cotton. Remember, we all thought Pence was a MAGA conservative. Trump needs a solid VP candidate more than most others. After Biden is disposed of with the 25th or forgets to swallow and chokes to death, age will be the #1 issue against Trump. This line of political attack also freezes out Bernie, the Bitch, Warren along with Trump. He needs the solid, step up now conservative in the wings who can sell himself in a national campaign. Trump will be 80. We don’t need another Reagan/Bush second term where focus was lost. Just in case.

So DJT is President and CEO while Ron takes over as COO, US Region. Cool.

Desantis isn’t going to settle for vice president. It’s a stupid job. He’d be better off as governor of Florida.

This is NOT nuts....this how it should go down. Any part that may be secret is that an aging and vindicated DjT steps down after 2 years for “health” reasons.

2 years of straight up, deep down ass-kicking. With majorities in congress, Trump finishes the wall, cuts departments (Ed., IRS), re-staffs others (FBI & State), downsizes others(EPA, Homeland Security), moves many more far away from the DC swamp (Interior & Ag).

Trump absorbs all the criticism for the massive shake-up, and then quits leaving DeSantis good to go thru 2036. ...our nations future restored

No!
Not true, from the 12th Amendment..
“...
The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not lie an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves.
...’

Remember President and Vice-President are two separate offices, Electoral College ballots are cast for both.
This means Florida electors could not vote for both Trump and DeSantis. They could vote for one, but not the other.

To clarify the same state issue:

Article II states: “The electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves.”

in the case of Florida, with far too many electoral votes to forfeit DjT would be wise to re-establish residence outside of Florida as a sitting Governor could not.

The provision usually has no or little import, but it did for Bush Cheney in 2000 with 271 electoral votes.(270 needed) Cheney re-established residence in Wyoming.

Some secret. I do not think they will do this, nor do not think DeSantis will run for president. His wife’s health would be one reason to stay in Florida. The stress running for president would be too great

I don’t believe this report. I live in Florida and Governor DeSantis is saying he is running to be governor for 4 years. I think he is more interested in Florida right now...at least I sure hope so!

"....They could vote for one, but not the other."

...which could be very problematic in a close election . Bush likely would have had Joe Lieberman as VP instead of Cheney. fwiw

Both people can be from the same state - what the Constitution says is that the Electors FROM THAT STATE ONLY can’t vote for both of them.

So if it's a close race, what will the electors from FL do? Only vote for Trump at the top of the ticket and not vote for DeSantis as Veep?

Strange.

You need to reread the US Constitution.

DeSantis will have served 1 great term and half of another. Criticism will be minor if the nation is calling for him. I assume Lt. Gov. Jeanette Nunez is strong, and capable.

Trump has been spending a lot of time in Bedminster.

I known he usually does that in the summer anyway, but…
