Joe Biden on Monday told doctors and hospitals around the country that they must perform abortions in emergency situations if the mother’s life is in danger even if their state has a ban on the procedure following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
The Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade last month which means states decide their own abortion laws.
More than 25 states have ‘trigger bans’ – meaning abortion becomes illegal or severely restricted once Roe v Wade is overturned.
Biden threatened to issue fines and strip Medicare status from hospitals that fail to perform abortions in emergency situations.
"Today, in no uncertain terms, we are reinforcing that we expect providers to continue offering these services, and that federal law preempts state abortion bans when needed for emergency care,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra. “Under the law, no matter where you live, women have the right to emergency care — including abortion care.”

This is THEATER... nothing real in any of this nonsense.
Reality is, eptopic pregnancies and other life threatening situations that require termination to save the mothers life are a minute percentage of abortions, and are not banned anywhere...
Hell even Catholic run hospitals performed these procedures long before Roe... this is all just theater for the ignorant.
It will depend on how Biden’s ilk define emergency. If it is strictly physical emergencies, i.e. ectopic pregnancy, it will pass. If they define it as emotional emergency, i.e. she didn’t bother to get prescription for abortion pill, it will fail big time in front of SCOTUS.
That explains Biden’s fathering technique, and why Hunter turned out so defective.
