The Wisconsin Supreme Court today ruled that absentee drop boxes are illegal in the state.
The court ruled 4-3 that the drop boxes can only be placed INSIDE election offices.

Completely agree. I even think a ballot-by-mail request should be confirmed by the voter’s doctor.
Much like the lawsuit Potato Head and his minions have going against AZ’s law requiring proof of citizenship to vote.
I still don’t what legal standing could possibly have, given the states are responsible for how they conduct elections.

nah, just check the box for medical or out of town etc should be sufficient. If a person legitimately cannot get to the polling place they should be able to request a ballot. BUT, they should have parameters, like a short window to request and a short window to submit BEFORE the election date.

Sure. Why not? It is a controlled environment. Fraud is hard, albeit not impossible, to do there.

Great news, end mail-in ballots elections.
She is 86 and has lived a long life with 4 children and many grandchildren/greatgrandchildren who have never been a criminal drain on society or sexual perverts. We are waiting for “the day,” and she has nothing to be ashamed of when it comes.

Forget mail in ballots. And drop boxes. Show up with a legal ID and vote in person. Hand count and turn in count add them up.
