The Georgia Guidestones was a granite monument that stood in Elbert County, Georgia, United States, from 1980 until it was partially destroyed and subsequently dismantled in July 2022.

The monument stood at an approximate elevation of 750 feet (230 m) above sea level, about 90 miles (140 km) east of Atlanta, 45 miles (72 km) from Athens, Georgia, and 9 miles (14 km) north of the center of the city of Elberton.

One slab stood in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lay on top of the five slabs, which were astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which was set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provided some notes on the history and purpose of the guidestones. The structure was sometimes referred to as an “American Stonehenge”.[1]

The monument was 19 feet 3 inches (5.87 m) tall, made from six granite slabs weighing 237,746 pounds (107,840 kg) in all.[2]

On the morning of July 6, 2022, the guidestones were heavily damaged in a bombing.[3] Later that day, officials demolished the remaining parts of the structure for safety reasons.[4][5]

Vandalism and conspiracy theories
The stones defaced with polyurethane paint and graffiti

In 2008, the stones were defaced with polyurethane paint and graffiti with slogans such as “Death to the New World Order”.[9] Wired magazine called the defacement “the first serious act of vandalism in the guidestones’ history”.[2]

In September 2014, an employee of the Elbert County maintenance department contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation when the stones were vandalized with graffiti including the phrase “I Am Isis, goddess of love”.[10]

On May 1, 2022, Kandiss Taylor, a candidate running in the Georgia Republican gubernatorial primary, released a campaign ad calling for the destruction of the Guidestones.[11] Taylor later attributed the partial destruction of the Guidestones to an act of God.[12] - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones

Given the stones were pretty much under around the clock surveillance, GA going to release the vid tapes to the general public?

Never heard of these stones until they made recent news. Must have upset the local Taliban.

I don’t think that the guide stones were intended as a plan for reducing the current population.

In the ‘70s, when they were erected, it had become obvious that civilization could end itself by nuclear war, biological war, pollution, exhaustion of critical resources, such as soil, etc.

It is more likely that they were intended as a plan for the remnant population following a global disaster.

They were inscribed in several languages in order to increase the odds that one of the languages could still be understood. Granite was a good choice to withstand weathering. It was not a good choice for withstanding high explosives.

Could we all just agree we are at war in our society? Nice to at least see our side fighting back, assuming this is not a false flag event, of course.

Since when do they demolish and haul off a supposed crime scene within hours? This was even faster than 9/1, OKC, etc.

There are various chrstian doctrines about Satan that differ widely from one another. In historical chrstianity (with its laws, legalism, and ceremonialism) "the devil" simply promotes sin, pure and simple. This is the "satan" of heavy metal album covers, and historically it simply performed the chrstian rituals backwards.

For Calvinistic Protestants salvation is an absolute gift. So their version of Satan isn't the goat-headed monster of heavy metal but a beautiful shining angel of light who does everything he can to distract from the absolute gratuity of salvation and promote "works righteousness" and the idea that our eternal destination is determined (at least in part) by our own acts. This is the "Lucifer" of the Lucis Trust, the new age movement, and the transnational elite (the idea that they actually believe that stuff is really scary).

Needless to say, the Guidestones were a monument to the latter rather than the former view.
