PING!
Alec -Murderer
Woody - Pervert
Hope - Decent American
SCTV was wonderful.
This is like Lon Horiuchiinterviewing Roman Polanski.

Bob Hope was a great entertainer and a Great American, considering all his support of USO.
The last 12 or so years of Bob’s life were hard to watch.
His hearing and eyesight were failing. Signs of dementia were seen frequently, but Bob still wanted to get in front of his audiences, however it could be done.
Jerry Lewis was creative, innovative and willing to take risks in movie writing or production. But as Jerry aged, he appeared to be more concerned with bitterness and grudges vs producing anything new. Besides Jerry’s fantastic movie career, he is remembered for writing his first wife and his four oldest sons out of the will and with zero inheiritance.
There exists a superscript “2” character: 9.8 m/s²
"writing his first wife and his four oldest sons out of the will and with zero inheiritance"
Hillary would call him a "person of grievance."
Hillary Clinton: Justice Thomas Has ‘Been a Person of Grievance for as Long as I Have Known Him’
Is this the new evidence the J6 committee was talking about?
Hope - Asshoe Womanizer. I met him. Being nice was too much of a stretch for him but he was old then.
Wrong thread?
I learned this bit of HTML during the Little Green Footballs/George W Bush fake National Guard letters fiasco.
For superscript, the HTML code is th.
For subscript, it is th.
So 4th gives you 4th.
and H2O gives you H2O.
It was difficult to tell if Jerry being a jerk was an act or not. But his reputation was awful.
I think Jerry’s second wife SanDee Pitnick (her real name) and her adult daughter were the lucky recipients of most that money.
This needs to be on the thread.

Bingo — Everyone was great in that show. The viseo feature Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis doing great immitations, but also: John Candy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Joe Flaherty, Martin Short. The whole show was simply brilliant.
And I’m still laughing at Andrea Martin in one of the SCTV skits, she’s at the gym, character getting interviewed while walking the indoor track...slowly, smoking a cigarette.
You summed them up pretty well.
I would add that Bob Hope came from an old world of written jokes with no improv. He was quite rigid in that regard. Jonathan Winters said Bob Hope could not handle adlibs from others very well.
