I learned this bit of HTML during the Little Green Footballs/George W Bush fake National Guard letters fiasco.

For superscript, the HTML code is ^th.

For subscript, it is _th.

So 4^th gives you 4^th.

and H₂O gives you H₂O.

I wasn’t sure that HTML tags would work in tagline text. That’s why I suggested the “Superscript Two” character, which works even if HTML tags don’t.
