There exists a superscript “2” character: 9.8 m/s²

Wrong thread?

I learned this bit of HTML during the Little Green Footballs/George W Bush fake National Guard letters fiasco.

For superscript, the HTML code is <sup>th</sup>.

For subscript, it is <sub>th</sub>.

So 4<sup>th</sup> gives you 4th.

and H<sub>2</sub>O gives you H2O.

I wasn’t sure that HTML tags would work in tagline text. That’s why I suggested the “Superscript Two” character, which works even if HTML tags don’t.
